I didn't say it wasn't fun
I just called it a "guilty pleasure".

The Machine girl. I do enjoy those kinds of silly Japanese movies.
On the topic of the Gman (no not the Halflife guy :p) S.H.Monsterarts (the guys who do er S.H.Figuarts >.>) are doing the 2014 Godzilla and it will be of high quality like the rest etc. The only one I have is of my all time fave monster SpaceGodzilla! The godzilla from space XD

After a second viewing tonight, I have more complaints than I did the first time. Obviously the first time I went I was so dead excited that I didn't notice the errors.
SPOILER WARNING - DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED GODZILLA AND DON'T WANT SPOILERS!!
Okay, so, I'll be blunt - too much cutting away from the action. We wait the whole damn movie to watch the kaiju fight only to have it pulled away from us every 30 seconds. Just give us one long, smooth fight scene that we can sink our teeth into. No, I still had no problems with them waiting as long as they did to show Godzilla. It built suspense well. But we needed longer action scenes!
I don't care about the human characters. I liked the relationship between the dad and his wife at the start, but I thought the whole 'military man with wife and son' was overused and dull. I agree with what a friend said to me, they should've had the woman as the main military character to change things up a little.
And finally, my biggest complaint of all, and this bothered me during my first viewing as well. STOP. CUTTING. AWAY. And I don't mean just the end fight scenes like I stated previously where they had two minutes of kaiju fight, two minute of humans, I mean we wait an hour to see Godzilla and MUTO face each other off aaaaaaaand we get to see it on a TV screen and it's over in 10 seconds. AND THEN THEY DO IT AGAIN. After the line 'let them fight' I swear I wet myself with excitement, thinking this was finally it. Aaaand it gets pulled away again and blocked off by a closing door. WHAT?! NO. That's not building suspense, that's just pissing us off. I know it makes up for it in the end with the *epic as fuck* battle between the kaiju, but GOD. It irritated me. And it irritated my friend who was sat right beside me too. xD
Those are my only problems though and I'm glad I got to see it a second time so that I could be more picky with it. I still loveloveLOVED it though and do plan on seeing it a third time next week with my mother, possibly in IMAX! O.O So excited for that. I do wonder what she'll think about it, she liked the 1998 Godzilla when I was little hehe. (I know no one liked that one... but we did!)
Another thing I'll quickly add on here though, none of my friends liked it as much as I did. None of them hated it, but most were kinda 'meh' about it and one other friend of mine loved it, but nowhere near as much as I did. And I didn't have a problem with this, obviously everyone has their opinions, but they kept apologising to me! Like guys! Why are you apologising?! xD

Third viewing today, eep. I think I'm done now. xD First time with the boyfriend, second time with friends, third for my mum and sister.
Two scenes in particular make my heart absolutely race - the pan upwards the first time we see Godzilla and he does his classic roar and when he's chargin his lazorz. So epic.

Enjoyed Godzilla. Was glad that I managed to not get spoiled about major parts of it. Of course, I ended up rooting for the losing side

The aqua blue color was close, my bf called it his "loading bar" when we saw his tail start to glow.

Oh. I'd been hoping that one would be decent. Ah well.

Hmm same. Mum wants to go to a movie for her brithday next weekend (she picked that) and her other preference was Godzilla. Might convince her to see that instead hehe!

well so far the reviews of Maleficent have been relatively positive, so, one person didn't like it. That's not going to stop me from seeing it and making up my own mind.

That's a shame. It comes out here tomorrow night and I'm going to see it but I'm not as hyped about it. She's just a fav Disney villain of mine, other than that though I never cared for Sleeping Beauty.
Just saw X-men Days of Future Past and I really liked it

I've also been recently obsessed with an anime recently (not a movie, but still) called Fairy Tail. It took me some time to get into it but it has been really good thus far

and by thus far, I mean I finished all the dubbed eps x.x all 120 of them. Now to watched subbed from 121 to 183 and read the manga

Guys, that's just *my* opinion.

You might enjoy it. Go see it if you wanted to see it. No one I know liked it though.

Finally got around to watching the Croods and- wow, that really, really impressed me. I mean, it's not gamechanging, but it was a really solid movie. (And people that raved about the creature/environment design were right, glorious glorious world they built)

Ahh, yes! I watched it recently and I didn't have any real expectation for it, I was just bored and figured I'd throw on something I hadn't seen yet. I was really impressed though, very lovely story and the creature design was incredible!

I saw it when I was babysitting my cousins and it was okay. I mean it's very pretty to look at! But I did not like the characters and really did not like the main girl XD
I dunno we had just watched Megamind and I did really enjoy that a lot more. He did have good taste in intro music. Born to be bad is a good badguy song XD

I need to get that soundtrack sometime. Anyway I should re-watch the Croods to see how I feel about it. I would not mind the art book of it (if they have one and most big movies do)
I saw Black sheep again. It's a classic that. Also got my prescreening tickets to a Kiwi vampire comdey movie called What we do in the shadows. It's about vampire flatmates who want to make a mortal friend so they can get invited into all the cool clubs and stuff XD it looks really good.
Heres the trailer if you guys want to see it. Looks really good to me
