I know how you feel, though with a different situation.

When I was trying to get Loque'nahak, people on Moon Guard were just jackasses, ganking him from me when he spawned and I had just hit the tame button.....so to solve that problem, it was suggested by a very nice stranger that was farming herbs in the area that I go to farstriders temporarily as it was less populated and people were much nicer. I took that advice and did just that and that very night, I tamed Loque'nahak(with a DK that helped too). It was worth the transfer over, even if the move was just temporary. Taluwen is back on Moon Guard now.

Tempting, though that's a very expensive wolf then. O-o

I'll think this over during my French lessons I think... Feel free to suggest a friendly server to go for a visit.

Anyone on Azuremyst who could help me out with taming one? Level 70 hunter named Scarraci on Azuremyst. I tried taming one about 30 times last night. Coudn't get it to work.

Does this still work? Been trying for like half an hour + with no luck I'm alone, so after I throw the bait, I freeze it and wait until it's 6-7seconds left before I start to tame. I had a few times it should have worked. it said 0.1sec left right before the wolf despawned.

Hehe, I noticed that it seems to work just as your about to give up, or beginning to think you've been punk'd lol

When I was doing it on my horde toon I was starting to feel bad that it was taking so long and I still didn't seem to have the timing right. I told the Alli guy (we were on vent) that it would be my last try. When the taming went off and the wolf despawned I called it back to find a shiny oily wolfie =^_^=

Hmm perhaps so. Though I'm muchly dreading for the Trade chat trolls to make a note of it and come kill everything near me... *ponders*
(Yes, I'm a bit pessimistic, but I guess it's worth a try...)

Edit: found out that two people who joined my guild recently have level 80 alliance characters, but our age difference... will see how they'll want to co-op if they can even... *finder crossed*

Finally got her on my lv.73 Hunter tonight, took me about 15 tries to get the timing right ^^ Named her Ink <3.

I still have the quest, so if anyone needs help on Silver Hand, just send my main Tavia (alliance) mail and we'll set it up (from an Alliance alt or something ^^)

Is there anyone on Eu Twisting Nether (ally) that would be able to help with this quest? (Once the stables are increased)?

If anyone is on Shadowsong and wants it, I have a warlock on the quest. I'll gladly help out in taming it, just whisper Kikanu, Campaigner, or Orgol, whichever one you find online.

Just managed to get mine today. Been seeing them in Dal lately, and wanted one myself. This thread really helped me in trying to tame one (as did my alliance friend).

Named her Umbra (Shadow in Latin), which really suits her.

I forgot to mention I do have an ally Pala that hasn't really done any quests in borean, so I can help any horde on Twisting nether Eu

One of my guildie switched to Alliance to get some achievements pre-Cata. He tipped me to this trick and suggested I log my hunter. Eternal hugs to him and to you all for posting all this wonderful info. <3 This is one who definitely won't be in the possible-deletion category.

To all those who haven't gotten him yet. Don't give up. Coffee and pastry is a nice self buff and a vent or skype server to chat on while going from wolf to wolf made this pleasant time spent.

Server first :3! Bout' a week after I had it tamed I saw an ally in Dal with a fresh tame and we danced around clapping and hugging each other ^_^! I love him!

I don't know if some1 else told you but you don't need the quest and i love this pet looks awwwwwsome

You dont need the quest, but you need someone there with the quest to throw the meat.
