It was a public holiday here today, and I was feeling a bit under the weather so I stayed home and tinkered with warp stalkers a bit. These could probably do with a few more tweaks but I'm happy enough with them to post them as they are.

UPDATE: swapped in a few improved skin pics on Thurs 02 Nov.

First up, a new blue. Dark blue with white markings:



A few very different purples, ranging from magenta to indigo. The fourth one was obviously inspired by the in-game red one:



Red, orange and two yellows. I'm not 100% happy with the yellows, and the red is probably a bit similar to one of the purples above. But they'll have to do



As requested, a forest green jungle stalker. Not sure if I prefer the stripes slightly more yellow or not (they're very similar!), so putting both up for the moment. They're otherwise identical:



Two browns. One dark and sombre, but tasteful, followed by a washed-out/muddy/cola kind of colour which I kinda like:



Aqua:



Another Aqua. This one was caught in a time vortex from the 80s. It complements the Miami Vice armour set and comes with a "Choose Life" tabard:



A few striking black ones. I'm pretty happy with all of these. Firstly black and white:



Demonic black and red:



This guy stalks The Matrix rather than the Warp:



Finally, a really unusual one that popped up unexpectedly, shiny metallic gold on cream. Its eyes are burning very brightly, as if infused with The Light. I can only assume it's taken to inhabiting the reignited Sunwell. Or maybe it eats paladins:

Probably The thing is the "eye" on the elite ravager isn't the normal eye on the skin. They stick a kind of cover over the actual eye so it looks glazed. Normally there would be a fiery red glow over the top of the eyes on this model but I turned it off. I could find where the piece of the skin is that depicts the eye patch thing and change that.

On the non-elite ravager it's just a matter of changing the colour of the very obvious eye on the skin (which I actually set as red but I could very easily make ice blue).

Ah, makes sense (having one of the dark greens with SUPER bright red eyes on my main hunter), gotcha.

The black and white is the pet of my dreams...

My favorite is the dark blue and white one, I keep finding myself scrolling back to it. The brown one has a sort of zombie feel to me that would be good for any hunter going for that sort of theme. The black and white and black and red ones are awesome as well.

That last, "light" Warp Stalker would make such a beautiful spirit beast. o.o

Most of those warp stalker skins look fantastic!

Wow, the "holy" warp stalker is really amazing. It reminds me very much of the paladin t13 and the GotAK. Shame it would never ever be possible to have both of those on same character (maybe some future mount granted by Turalyon-led faction?)

I think with green eyes this one would be fantastic.

I adore the black warpies as well as the paladin nommer. Do want!

it would be very funny, if some of these pet's ended up in mists......(since we dont quite know what pets may, or may not be in it)

I'm rather surprised none of those Ravagers or Warp Stalkers really jumped out and said "TAME ME NAO". Then again I -really- don't care for Ravagers. I just have the blue/green one for it's raid buff.

I thought a blue and white Warp Stalker would look nice, but the first one really didn't impress me. That or a blue and purple one. Those black ones with the red, green, and white were the only ones to really stand out to me. I wonder what a black one with a brighter blue would look like? Blue markings, mouth, eyes like the red and green versions you did.

I currently own the white with blue markings.

THAT BLACK AND WHITE WARPIE. DO WANT. I also love the black and green one!! And the black and red! amugah we need these in game! x.x

I also worked at updating a few more colours I wasn't entirely happy with. In most cases I'll sub or add them to the post above. If the original ones are removed they can still be found in the attached files above.

A jungle stalker I'm MUCH happier with. It actually looks like it belongs in a jungle now, rather than in a collection of ugly plastic figurines. I just haven't decided if I prefer the stripes to be more or less yellow yet. They both have merit:



The blue/white one I originally posted was also very saturated and plastic. This one is similar but has lost a lot of the saturation. I had to start it from scratch:



Slightly less saturated red, with a stripe colour I think works better than the original. It's probably a bit too similar to one of the purple ones now, but I'm leaving it:



A second brown. Very washed out, kinda muddy. I do like it though. This is just an addition, not a replacement:



Yellows continue to plague me. But I kinda like the brown stripes on this one. Not sure about the eyes, though:



As for the cyan one... I've given it up as a lost cause. I can't make it look decent.

Yes, I like these jungle stalkers; my preference leans toward the one on the left.
