I can relate, Litle. When I take a break from RP, I always come back to six or seven pages. xD IT can be a little time consuming to wade through.

Well Litle, there's two ways you could do it:
1) The Barrel. This is a bit of an in-joke with my local D&D group. When a player is unable to make a session or two, we often say that their character has turned into a barrel with big floppy feet that follows the group around but otherwise doesn't do anything.
Basically, your character has been following around the group and has just not been interacting with them. Yeah, it's kinda cheap with this sort of narrative, but it works.

2) Coincidental meeting. This is what I did with my new Broken character. Just say that Asilia has come into Booty Bay on a ship, recognises Kozri and sticks about.

D'aww Karzix what happened to you?

I find story seems to come along as a RP. Zaruuk, for example, started off pretty blank. I had who he basically was (A bitter draenei who's suffered a lot of loss) and what I wanted to do with him (Demonic corruption). The rest of him kinda grew from them on.

It was the same for Myri with me..well yeah I had no idea XD and so I kept bugging everyone else for advice. It worked like a charm.

The only problem is that he's afraid that, by somehow joining up with this, he'll do something to cause it to die. All the other Play by Post RPs he'd gotten involved in end up dead. I keep telling him there are other reasons why it happens, but he doesn't listen to me. XD

it won't die because of him! why would that happen? he should join.

It's just him being silly and superstitious. XD
