Glix - Burning Steppes

The goblin looked at the pup once Swift had run off to play with Tirrae. She blinked at him when he merely tilted his head and wagged his tail at her. "Oh, boy. No litter mates or nothing?" She leaned back with a sigh, studying the pup thoughtfully. Catching the sound of Myri and Kozri talking, she tilted her ears back to hear them a bit better. She frowned slightly, looking down at the ground as she listened. She was silent for a few moments, continuing to silently stare at the ground. She finally looked up at the pup. "Well, little buddy?" She asked quietly. "We've got quite the menagerie here already. Think a half-burned little worg pup will fit in?"

((Ruby, I can take over the worg, if you'd like. :D))

Batlek, Cultist Camp

Batlek continued the spell, eyes closed. He could feel a shard beginning to form in his hand, growing from a spec to a fist-sized jewel. His eyes opened to examine it. It was ice blue, with darker swirls actively moving about within. A fragment of soul. He cut off the spell, the shard clenched in one fist, and whispered another harsh order at the black glass orb. It fell silent, the images disappearing, though quiet whispers remained.
Silently he watched Decay.

Kozri
Burning Steppes

Kozri returned to silence, continuing to watch Swift and Tirrae play around. Well. If he couldn't change the past, he could at least stay together. The living still wanted him around, and Azu wouldn't want him to mope. He picked up a rock nearby, testing its weight, and then throwing it, for Swift to try and catch.

Decay - Elwynn

Decay glared at the warlock. She wanted to attack him, but she COULDN'T. Stupid troll.

Saturo - Elwynn

Saturo looked at the troll and the death knight with curiosity. That was one way to solve it, she supposed. Sure, she would have just cast Bind Undead, but Batlek's solution seemed to be working.

Tirrae, Burning Steppes

Tirrae grinned suddenly, seeing Kozri toss the rock towards Swift. She faded into the nether realm, wading forward to reappear right in front of the rock to try and catch it herself and hopefully beat Swift to it.

Batlek, Cultist Camp

Batlek just smiled, tapping a finger on the soul shard. "The soul - the source of strength - stolen away. Now, simply a slave."

Decay continued glaring. Stupid troll.

Batlek, Cultist Camp

His mission now done, Batlek ripped one of several tribal necklaces from around his neck and tied the soul shard to it before wrapping it around his wrist, the shard hanging slightly, just enough to be grabbed and drained should the need arise. He turned back to the camp. They needed to get a portal to the Ironforge camp - with the shadow beasts here drained, he needed another source of the power.

Decay - Elwynn

Decay was still kneeling, shooting an icy glare at the troll. Stupid troll.

Sabra--Cultist Camp

Sabra had watched her father subdue the death knight from afar. As he walked away from Decay, the troll approached him slowly. "Dat elf's soul be mighty perty," she commented, admiring the swirling blue shard. "It be full o' powa?"

Indigosa--Exodar

Indi nodded a thank you to Threnaad, not sure what the broken found so funny. She turned to Zaruuk, a small frown on her lips. "Why are you apologizing?"

Batlek, Cultist Camp

Batlek nodded slightly. "Power at my command, and power over the owner of the soul." He held up his wrist to show the shard more clearly. "She is incomplete without this, and I will keep her broken so."

Sabra--Cultist Camp

Sabra giggled deviously, wondering if she might be able to have some fun with the death knight as well. "What be next den?" she asked, unable to contain her excitement.

Batlek, Cultist Camp

"For now? We travel. Camp to camp, creature to creature. More shadow beasts to be drained. More infused cultists to find." The last time he had met with the other leaders of the Clan, he had heard that the Ironforge camp was starting with Earth. Hopefully they had started the ritual already. He hoped to meet up with the Earth cultist before moving on to Kalimdor. While he was gone, of course, they'd simply restart, creating another Shadow infused cultist.

Decay - Elwynn

A thin layer of ice started growing on the soulshard. Decay tried to suppress the grin. Stupid troll, about to die.

Batlek, Cultist Camp

His hand whipped down and grabbed the soul shard as Batlek noticed how it was growing colder. A bane was cast on it. ((Bane of Agony again))

Decay - Elwynn

Decay groaned in pain, and as her concentration shattered, the ice faded, dripping off.

Sabra--Cultist Camp

Sabra studied what was happening, a wicked grin lighting up her face. "Can I be playin' wit da death knight?" she asked Batlek.

Batlek, Cultist Camp

"Don't kill it. I will be making it into a strong weapon." With that he unwound the rope from his wrist, handing the soul shard over to his daughter. Getting an idea, he summoned his imp again. "You. Find a mage and prepare a portal to the Ironforge camp, then get a few frost beasts ready for draining."

Decay - Elwynn

Decay, realizing her opportunity, lashed out mentally from the shard, to try and overwhelm the young troll.

Sabra--Cultist Camp

Sabra only smiled at Decay's attempt. She instead sent a fear inducing image through to the death knight ((Fear)). She walked over to Decay, standing just out of her range. "You gon' havta do betta dan dat, elf! I be learnin from meh fadah." She crouched down, bringing herself eye level with the death knight. "I be likin you. Feisty, lotsa spirit. You be makin good weapon."

Giggling she sent a nasty, corrupting shadow spell through the shard ((Corruption)).

Decay - Elwynn

Decay ignored the fear, but winced as the corruption washed over her. Stupid trolls.
