Event news: for JAPANESE B/W ONLY! There will be an event Victini that can be obtained for pre-booking tickets for either of the 2 Victini movies (Victini and the Black Hero, Zekrom or Victini and the White Hero, Reshiram). The Victini will be lvl 50, holds a Fire Gem, caught in a Cherish Ball and has this moveset: V-create (which can't be gotten for Victini by normal means), Searing Shot, Fusion Flare and Fusion Bolt. It is available from April 16-August 31. Also, the JAPANESE Global Link site will have a new downloadable C-gear skin featuring the little Victory pokemon.
I just thought I'd put this up as it may mean English players can get it some time in the future too!

Update: Ok so I've begun farming Battle Subway for points to buy the Power items with (when held, they add +4 EV's to a certain stat regardless of what you kill. eg: A Patrat normally gives 1 Attack EV...with Power Bracer, it gives 5. A Litwick normally gives 1 Sp Attack EV...with a Power Bracer, it also gives 4 Attack EV's. The holder's Speed ((The actual stat...not EV's)) is halved though.) I was actually DOMINATING the Battle Subway Single Battle car with Chomp whom I transferred from Platinum. Just 1 Dragon Dance for the most part and he killed EVERYTHING. We were on the 3rd set of 7 trainers....on the 6th guy. Chomp set up Dragon Dance, the Mienshao opponent U-Turned. Eelektrik sent out. Chomp used Waterfall. Eelektrik manages to BARELY HANG ON >.>. Eelektrik used Wild Charge and killed Chomp (and took himself out). I send out Rikki, the opponent uses Scolipede. I ran into a MAJOR problem here....Rikki was in the PC the entire time since I transferred her over....and Return is her main STAB move...see the problem? >.>. She was destroyed. That left my Krookodile, Gorebite, who was 1 SHOTTED BY A STEAMROLLER CRIT.
In other words: Fail >.>

Yaaaaay! XD
News: There's been an update on the Eeveelution event. The game will be unavailable starting May 5th so if you haven't played, you have until then to do so. There will be a promotion in the upcoming months that'll allow us to transfer the Eeveelution from Global Link to the game.

I think that's the main reason I still play. I like the familiarity of it all, especially when it comes to a franchise like this. If I want a challenge, I tend to play other games, but Pokémon games are just about the nostalgia for me ;P
Aye, I can respect that. I suppose the opposite side of the argument is that if you deviate too far from the original concept, you end up with something completely different and unwarrented that it barely resembles the name it goes under.
I mean, just look at the latest few Final Fantasy games. >.>
You didn't like FF13? I think that's my favorite of the series thus far. Twelve, on the otherhand, has an ok story but bland for the most part for me... So maybe I kinda see what you mean...

Well, if you look at where the FF series started, and where it is now, its not really Final Fantasy. Its not to say the new one sare bad, its just that they are so far from the original concept that they are almost a new series.
Found a shiny female deerling in White and named her Spirit. She's now a member of my team.
Mikayla-victini, lv 44
Darketh-Zorua, lv 53
Blood-Boldore, lv 49
Scout-Watchog, lv 45
Requiem-Samurott, lv 53
Spirit-Deerling, lv 22
Now headed deep deep down into the bowls of the earth to chellange Clay. Since I alreaded rounded up the plasma for him, and then watched him let them go...time to make him pay for wasting my time!

Rocking our way to the Icirrus gym. Wanted to pick up my druddigon, but go figure, it's winter, so he won't show up until the actual tower. Fun. So I have to wait.
So, Ruby and I decided it was time to BURNINATE THE GYM. The team?
Ruby: Level 34 Victini
Senna: Level 36 Galvantula
Varyn: Level 36 Samurott (I cheated and used a Rare Candy on him. xD)
Kerym: Level 35 Uphezant
Kiara: Level 35 Zoroark
Maxwell: Level 36 Scolipede

I haven't really enjoyed the series since FF 9, truth be told. I could go on about how this series has been on a downward spiral for the past decade, but this is not the right place for that discussion.
So, on topic, has anyone been able to pick up their eeveelutions? Just want to make sure I don't missed mine becasue I'm dumb.

Apparently the Eeveelutions won't be available until the 5th of May, when they take down the game for them. *Grumbles* I'm still grumpy over going with Espeon in that game....

The one with Cobalon, Terrakion and Virizion on it? Well.. As I mentioned before.. I was able to get one online.. AND IT JUST ARRIVED TODAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE IT IS AMAZING AND EPIC AND OMGOMGOGMGHSFJTVGHSJDSGHXYFJVH *Runs around, spazzing out like a completely insane person*

Officer Jenny! I sort of rememeber!
And ARCANINE! *tacklehugs.* Growlithes were like, my favorite pokemon ever when I was kid. I would like to pretend I was one. x3
Edit:
Messed with my team again. This should be as:
Varyn the Samurott
Kerym the Unfezant
Senna the Galvantula
Kiara the Zoroark
Iorek the Beartic (Still trying to get him. Can anyone catch the name reference here?)
Kozri the Druddigon (Because if there's Azu, I think Koz deserves to be on the team.)

Update:
Been goofing off in Dream World...caught some neat things like a Nidoran Male with Hustle ability andf Super Fang attack among other things.
Managed to clear the Battle Subway Single Train twice. Chomp, Rikki, and Jaws are a dominant force XD
After farming the Subway I bought some Power items: Power Bracer, Power Anklet, Power Lens, Power Belt, and Power Weight to help with EV training. For those that don't know...these items will add +4 EV's to a certain stat no matter what you fight. Example: a Patrat has 1 Attack EV naturally. Hold a Power Bracer and it boosts to 5 Attack EV's. Hold a Power Lens and it gives 1 Attack and 4 Sp attack EV's! Use 10 Proteins on a pokemon (+10 Attack EV's each...can only use 10) then give it a Power Bracer and fight pokemon on Route 1. With the Power Bracer...you only need to knock out around 30 Pokemon to finish up! (in this case...only defeat 30...as that gets you 150. Then take the bracer off and defeat 2 more to cap it.)
Started EV training my Larvesta, got it its 252 Sp Attack EV's.

Ok so I sorta bungled up the EV training of my Larvesta.
So I bred a new one. First egg, Modest Larvesta XD (thank you Everstone!)
Pokemon of the Week: Whimsicott ((With Prankster ability and a great movepool to abuse it, Whimsicott is a very good Pokemon. Priority Substitutes, Taunts, Encores, Stun Spore, so many things.

I just went through an unimaginable amount of shit to get my hands on a shiny Zorua named Lateralus.
Worth it to hook my hubby up with his dream Poke though. :]
