I thought that too with Anthriss >_> Except after telling a mage off, I tamed Anthriss. Just keep looking for them, and they'll come.

I looked this morning and just now. STILL NEITHER! They do not exist! /sob

There there. I've only ONCE found Aotona, and ended up killing her by accident on my druid when Starfall aggro'd EVERYTHING
In the end, I wanted to take an axe and murder my druid >_>

wow. never ever seen madexx (not ever the other colors) on my sever. i've seen aotona once (but i killed her and got the exp to lv 76 for my loque)

I've seen: one brown that got rehomed,
a blue that I tamed
a green that I tamed
a red one found dead
Black one being tamed
=/

I have killed brown out of fury about 6 times, tamed black until they were common then released it, tamed red and green and still have them, and REALLY WANT BLUE OMG ILL DIE FOR IT!

Green Madexx was my Loki until I met Kirix, god of pets.

When I saw red madexx dead, I flew to the closest mountain >.> Blue and red are my favourite...green just has these EYES that stare at you for all of eternity.

how the heck do you tame the lone hunter with the god forsaken sword in his head?!?!?!?!

I think they fixed that a few hotfixes ago. It saddens me D:

Oh, ouch. So glad mine still has his sword in the head! Glad they didn't take it away or glad I didn't release him!

Madexx I have seen:
2 browns (rehomed both)
1 Green as it was being tamed
2 Red (tamed one but later released, rehomed the other)
1 Black (rehomed)
1 Blue (released red and grabbed this one)

I will say I'm not much of a scorpid fan, but the blue and green are actually pretty nice looking.

Aotona I have seen three times. Tamed one and saw the other just in time to see a hunter complete the tame and saw the bird "level".
The third one popped right in my face while I was on my husband's hunter and died at my feet as I was taming it I looked up over the corpse of the giant blue bird to see a fellow hordie on his wind rider flying off after "farting" on me and laughing...

I have never seen: Anthriss or Karkin out in the wild, and I am convinced that TLPD is a myth.

Anthriss is normally up in the early hours in Manno, and Karkin spawns much less often than Skarr. I've seen 3 skarr spawnings in one day, and two Karkin in one month =/

I will trade you Anthriss and Karkin for blue Madexx. /cry

I was camping him literally from 10am my time, when the servers went back up, to 10:14pm, when he spawned and I tamed him. Did not budge. And thank god for the fact that I have two accounts and my main is on a separate account from my hunters, because otherwise I would've missed him, as I had a raid on my main starting at 8:30pm.

So I keep tabbing between clients throughout the raid. And when I tab into my hunter just before we pull Baleroc I see a green untamed beauty skittering right towards me.

So I tell my guild "brb a moment, toilet" and proceed to FREAK THE HELL OUT OMG.

I fail epically on the first taming attempt - shoot Kirix, push Deterrence once Magmatoxin started casting... and then realize I was too far away to tame. Attempt to move forward and promptly fall off the damn rock. Cue full-blown freakout while running back, because there oss a hunter of the opposing faction there and omg what if he tames it while I'm running back and what if he doesn't but he decides to kill me during the tame instead omg omg omg omg.

(The hunter had been sporadically killing me throughout my morning and afternoon of camping, although he started leaving me alone and just occasionally dropping a trap or a couple of shots on me when he realized that I wasn't going to bother fighting.)

Run back and Kirix is still there. Hop up the rock stairs with shaking hands then make the long jump to the taming rock, press walk, inch forward until I'm on the very edge of the rock. Wait until Tame Beast is showing as in range to shoot Kirix this time. Shoot, push Deterrence once Magmatoxin starts casting, press tame... watch it inch forward... pray Kirix doesn't evade at the last moment... YAY I GOT HIM!

Do a happy dance, get hugged and congratulated by the other hunter, alt-F4 out of the hunter's client and switch back to my main, where my guild is scratching their heads that this bathroom break is taking me unnaturally long.

And then I spend the entirety of the Baleroc fight, plus a good long while afterwards, chatting to the hunter who was there. (The hunter I got Kirix on is a goblin - the rest of my characters, including my main, are alliance.) He turns out to be a nice guy, and he's waiting for Skarr, and I share with him the last few spawn times I saw (while I was waiting I saw two Karkins spawn and get tamed). And a short while later he gets his Skarr, and Skitterflame to boot.

Happy tames all over!

Another heart breaking day to be a hunter camping for 9hr for a guy to tame Magria with my tap. ***** the troll hunter on moon guard ill make sure you regret this

2 hrs later skarr spawned and tamed still dosent make us for the fact someone stole my tame on magria

It is called the Time Lost for a reason, I think. Blizzard must have had fun with all the initial QQ about it not spawning as often as Vyra. I've camped it on and off, but I'm starting to think that there's little hope with me. I feel your pain.

Deth tilac was up and my guildie wanted it. Got her down to 50% with my guildie when another hunter came. The hunter came and started attacking at this point deth was at 20% but my guildie got to close and ended up dying. The other hunter had agro and told him to FD, trying to get agro off him and he sat there, got deth striked and deth tilac died. I asked him why he didnt FD or.. heck run and he said he was looking for his tame beast button, and something about bravery. I told him basically its ignorant to steal someones tame but its even more ignorant to kill the rare that person is tryingto tame all because you dont want to do it yourself.

Man that ticked me off

The GM who responded to my Aotona/Blue Madexx ticket claimed they definitely spawn and I'm just missing them somehow. HOW!? I've camped Bluey for 4 months! How am I missing him!?

And no one is in Northrend, ever, now, so how do I miss Aotona? She isn't top of the "most wanted" list for pets.

People still need to kill Aotona for the achievements and how do you know shes not wanted? I know plenty who want and like her.

It took me a month before I found blue madexx so you need to just park it til it spawns.
