I also hate, hate, HATE when a seemingly less dedicated person wins these rares (ie someone with like 3 mounts) and then doesn't use them. Don't get me wrong if it's the one mount they absolutely adore in the game and it's the only one they'd ever use then that's cool, but by looking at them we can't tell these facts. :p Your guy was certainly not one of these people... Wind rider indeed. v.v

Before I got my own I'd ooze envy when I saw a player on their Phospho Drake and one time I went to the Outland portal and saw someone just in front of me ride it through, when they got on the other side they went straight to the flight path and hopped on a gryphon. They had 310 flying so it's not like they were gong to go much slower so why pick a (as much as I adore them) boring flight path over a beautiful, dazzling Phosphorescent Stone Drake? Beh it made me have a small nerd rage but then I actually like using my mounts to fly everywhere. Not everyone likes to keep an eye on whether they will fly into trees, mountains etc. Personally I cannot stand all the twists and turns and giant loops they take to get from A to B.

Urg Mia, I'm so, so sorry. I can relate, I know how you feel. It's this feeling of absolute... I can't even describe it. Pain and anger and just... URG. I'm sorry you lost him again, but that Aeonaxx was smelly and ew and you didn't want him anyway. That's why the guy didn't mount up on it afterwards. Cause it smelled bad.

But really, I've had these kinds things happen too. Once I was sat camping and my boyfriend was over and convinced me to come down and he would make me some lunch (French toast mmm) and, on the way back up the stairs, he said to me, "Lol wouldn't it be funny if Aeonaxx spawned during the time you were gone?" and, of course, I got to the screen and both the Aeonaxx triggers had gone off. One about a minute from the other. If I were in the room just 15 minutes longer, I would've got him. I cursed at my boyfriend for saying what he did up the stairs and he laughed at me when I got angry about it. ): Luckily he understands more now that camping can be very frustrating, hehe.

I also helped someone camp for Time-Lost once by being friendly to them and giving them info and linked them to the resource website. They were really friendly in return and we both camped at different spots, but I was still trying to get it for myself and he knew that, so if it spawned where I was, I would grab it. I wasn't willing to help someone who I barely knew camp, tbh. He apparently got server first Aeonaxx too and he was camping on that drake. And when I logged in one day he told me he got Time-Lost... I kept seeing him in Orgrimmar after that quite often... *never* using Time-Lost. That urked me quite a bit.

I wish you much, much luck for the future though! No more smelly Aeonaxxs and only Mia's Aeonaxx please! (And urg, when I see people with dumbass character names camping...)

No spawn today, but I'm hoping maybe after I get some sleep will be the lucky one!

Oh god that made me laugh. Whatever you do, don't let yourself get worked up about it! Take plenty of breaks and let yourself do other things in the game too!

Thankfully I'm in beta so I have that to do while I camp.

Also... Totally had a dream last night that I missed Aeonaxx a third time.
And before that I had a dream that I was friends with Katara and Sokka from The Last Airbender and we had adventures around the Southern Water Tribe.

I had a dream last night that Portent spawned 50+ times in random colours. Everywhere. Yeah, seriously.

But boo it’s not Aeonaxx.

It’s sort of a maybe-good thing it wasn’t Aeonaxx this time. Blood Seeker spawned while I was AFK, so although it’s POSSIBLE Aeonaxx could have gone unnoticed for the two minutes it took me to get back to my computer, I somewhat doubt it. But hey, I also have a timer now! That’s always good!

Now, time to slap Attumen the Huntsman some more and later on I’ll solo Slabhide a few times.
