I lovelovelove that movie. I think it's highly underrated. But the best thing about it by far are the creature and environment designs. The artbook for it is beautiful. <3

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2. I saw the first one at animation school and I reallyed enjoyed it, mainly because I went in thinking it will be bad and this one was even better then the first one!

Love love love the food designs! They had Kiwifruit Kiwis! :D

Ahhh The Croods…I went into that movie expecting it to suck and I came out loving it :)

Megamind and Cloudy with a Chance are big favorites of mine too! I loved Cloudy 2 as well :)

I saw Maleficent last week. It wasn't AMAZING, but it wasn't awful either. I actually liked it, but I also went into the movie expecting nothing great from it XD If you go into a movie with low expectations, you're bound to come out feeling at least content with it :P

I also saw A Million Ways to Die in the West. It had some funny parts, but I wouldn't waste my money on it personally.

I went into Maleficent with very low expectations, in fact I didn't even really want to see it, I only went cause my friends wanted to see it. I wasn't impressed and they were all disappointed. xD

Just came back from Edge of Tomorrow which was, surprisingly to me, REALLY good! I give it a solid 9/10, the ending made it fall a bit, but was otherwise brilliant!

And for anyone who might be wondering why/how I see so many damned movies, I pay a subscription-type fee to my local cinema to see unlimited movies every month. It's totally worth it as long as I go to see at least two movies every month. Plus I get discounts on food, which is even more awesome. :D

I saw the new X-men movie. It was pretty good, I really like how they did it. The sentinels weren't as big as they "should" be, but I understand wanting to make them not so...Giant, lol. I do liek their design, and the idea behind their adaptability.
Movie pretty much undo's all the crap in the last few X-men movies.

My only beef with is its that they made Wolverine look older by giving him some grey streaks.

I saw Maleficent last night and I really liked it! The visuals were stunning and I really enjoyed the story they gave her. It also follows the latest disney tradition that the prince isn't always the one that rescues the damsel ;)

Husband and I saw X-Men tonight, and it was AWESOME!

I would have liked to have seen Maleficent, but it wasn't showing at the theatre near us, so sadly, that one will have to wait until Bluray release.

The Hunger games more like the Meh games.

Also CGI fire for the camp fires? That's a bit lazy.

What we do in the shadows was really good. I'm sure the guys who did the Weresheep in Black sheep did the werewolves in it!

I completely agree! This movie blew me away! I loved the first one the second one was just as good (if not even better)! It was EXCEPTIONALLY well done!
BTW, I read this bit of trivia after seeing it and found it extremely interesting! Thought I'd share:

When offered the sequel, Dean DeBlois accepted it on condition that he could turn it into a trilogy. For the sequel, he intended to revisit the films of his youth, with Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) having the pivotal inspiration for the film. "What I loved especially about Empire is that it expanded Star Wars in every direction: emotionally, its scope, characters, fun. It felt like an embellishment and that's the goal." Dean further explained, "I find it dangerous to second-guess the audience. I want to make the movie which I want to see. As a kid, I loved films that had a darker side and were emotionally challenging.... 'The Empire Strikes Back' was a big influence. It offered a heightened sense of emotion. It really served as a tonal model."

HTTYD2. Was... I have no words. I expected it to be good. I expected it to be amazing. It was more than that. It was so perfect. I was almost in tears at several different parts and the only thing holding me together was the fact I was in a large room packed full of people. xD That was... wow. I really have no words right now. I'm still in awe.

The only disappointment for me is that its official release date is later next month so I'll have to wait some time to go back and see it again!

Also that Godzilla reference omg. I'm sure it wasn't intended to be a direct reference but it was all me and my fiancé could think of.

My thoughts exactly XD

I've seen the movie twice so far, and going to see it agin Tuesday :3 It is truly amazing, and probably the best sequel I've ever seen. The first one is an all time favorite of mine and the second one…like you said, no words… It's also visually stunning!!!

Oh I'm so jealous. Once again, UK release date is miles away from the USA's, but I'm glad for this one-day screening we had today. Plus when it does come out I'll be moving house and to and from my mother's and I don't know if I would've found time to go see it. But I'm already dying to see it again, we were tempted to go to the screening that was right after ours as well. xD

The visuals were what almost had me in tears. And the amazing character development and... THAT SCENE. ;-;
