Update: so I've begun (and finished) EV training my Golurk (XT-002). During training, I found out that he did have a good Ghost type STAB to work with! My original plan was to give him Stone Edge with his other moves, but then I looked at Shadow Punch more closely. Never misses, 60 power. Not too good. but then you look at STAB. Getting better. THEN you look at the fact that my Golurk has the Iron Fist ability! It just became stronger than Stone Edge!

So here's my Golurk's new moveset: Earthquake, Shadow Punch, Gyro Ball, Hammer Arm

Currently training him so he can catch up with <3 the Hydreigon and Gypsy the Volcarona (both lvl 70).

Pokemon of the Week: Toxicroak ((gained a pretty decent boost in 5th gen with Drizzle being given to Politoed in the DW. Great Typing: Poison/Fighting, and a great movepool and great ability: Dry Skin. http://serebii.net/potw-bw/454.shtml))

BUAWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

Aaaand since, again, it really only has things to do with Pokemon.. WHEEE SAKURACON UPDATE.

So. Yesterday, I was wearing my Team Magma Grunt cosplay. .. It was a boring day, despite being the busiest. Problem was.. I got there at 3 PM, due to the fact that me and my mom were still finishing the costume.. And when I got there.. My mom had to leave, my friend (We shall call her T) had to go to a panel.. While my two other friends (One of whom shall be called S and the other C) also went to their own things. So.. I kind of just.. Sat there on the floor in one room for about 4 hours. Kind of boring. I DID however, make a friend in a Team Rocket Grunt, who I ended up talking with after he stopped and went "TEAM ROCKET IS BETTER!". We even ended up having a battle XD (He won. But only by a tiiiiny bit XD) So.. that was pretty much Saturday.

Today... I cosplayed as Morty (<3), while S cosplayed as Eusine (You know, the Suicune fanboy from the Johto games? XD), T was a Suicune (Muawahahah! Needless to say, she got glomped by S) while C cosplayed as a.. MAGIKARP! She was amazing XD

SO much stuff happened today, by the way. At 8 AM.. We went to a Pokemon photoshoot, which was fairly lackluster in my opinion... Then we wandered for a bit, only to end up hanging out where we usually sat. S and C went off to a panel, as did T at one point. She eventually came back and we went off.. SHOPPING! T got a Miku (Vocaloid XD) figurine.. In a LEEKMOBILE (.. Err. Miku's character item is a leek. So yeah) while I got three Pokemon figurines; Cranidos, Feebas and Pelipper. Aaaand I also got some little Johto Gym Badge pins, which freakin' made my day (ESPECIALLY the Fog Badge <3). We then went and sat down for a while... And we ended up talking with another Pokemon cosplayer, a Sir Aaron (From the Lucario movie) and such (We shall call him A, by the way). After a while, a little Zorua cosplayer came up and mentioned a Pokemon battle skit he was trying to set up. Needless to say, we decided we'd join in. After being rejoined by S and C.. We all went to meet up with the Zorua, then went on a hunt for other Pokemon cosplayers... Only to end up going and watching a Fantasy Fight Tournament, which was AWESOME. Though S and T weren't there, and C ended up skedaddled a little over half way through. Afterwards.. Me and A decided that the little Zorua really wasn't made for setting up something like the battle skit and we just skedaddled back to everyone else, where we hung out and yabbered on for a while until the con pretty much ended.

I later found out that my mom, S, T and C had gone SHOPPIIIIING while I was gone, and got me a bunch of things.. Including an Umbreon pin, a Glaceon pin, a little... Crap, I totally forgot what they're called. You know, the little plastic things that have a picture on them that you like hang on a bag and such? Yeah. Those. Anyway, I got a Gengar one and a Toothless (From How to Train Your Dragon <3) one. AAAAAAND the best of them all.. The most AMAZING piece of Morty fanart. I literally cannot express how completely and utterly freaking HAPPY this picture makes me. AGH. <3

Also.. After having a sliiiight meltdown half way through the Fantasy Fight Tournament.. I ended up heading out of the area, only to find some people with a music player.. And it was playing the original Pokemon theme. We ended up with like.. 30 people singing along to the whole damn song (Including meeee!), which was AMAZING <3

I also saw SO many Pokemon cosplayers. Let's see what I saw over the course of the three days...

About 20 (If not more) Team Rocket Grunts, a Team Rocket Scientist, a Team Rocket Admin (From HG and SS) and a Giovanni. Two Bellossoms (A female AND a male one!), a couple Magikarp (One being C, obviously), about two Vaporeons (One female and one male), a Flareon, two Glaceons (Again, one female, one male) a couple Espeons, a couple Eevees, quite a few Jolteons, a BAZILLION Umbreons (Including me on the first day XD), no Leafeons, though according to the male Vaporeon.. There was one. Quite a few Team Magma Grunts (INCLUDING ME YESTERDAY XD), a Team Plasma Grunt, a BUNCH of Ns, a BUNCH of Toukos (Black and White girl player character), one Touya (Black and White boy player character), a Belle (I REFUSE TO CALL HER BIANCA), a Cheren, a Ghetsis (WHO LOOKED EPIC), two Mareeps, a Flaaffy, at least two Giratina (One who had a gorgeous dress and giant wings), a Dialga, a Moltres, a Zapdos, an Articuno, WAAAAAY too many Pikachus, a Raichu, at least one Pichu, quite a couple Brocks (One with an Onix, and the other with a Geodude), a BUNCH of Mistys, a GIANT FREAKIN' ONIX (Which was being carried like those giant Chinese Dragons in parades and such. It was AMAZING.), a Flint, a Zorua, a Sir Aaron, a Mewtwo (WITH ARMOUR. HE LOOKED AMAZING.), a Mew, an Arceus (She looked absolutely amazing), a couple Meowths, a couple Mudkips (I really would have thought there'd be more..), a Buizel, a Swellow, a Quilava, a few Snorlax... Arceus, I think that's all I can remember. SO MANY OF THEM. AGHHHH.

Also, on the subject of Pokemon cosplayers.. Azu.. This will make your day. I saw two girls who were walking along together. Guess who they were cosplaying as? Espeon and Dialga. I was immediately like "OMG NEED TO GET A PICTURE SO I CAN SHOW AZU!!!!!! *Flails*". I have a picture of them on my phone.. And once I figure out how to get it onto the computer, I'll post it XD

One thing that did make me sad was.. Despite the MASSES of Pokemon plushies being sold.. THERE WERE NO TOTODILE. There were QUITE a few Cyndaquil and Chikorita plushies. But no Totodile. Not even a figurine. IT MADE ME SAD. Mostly cause I need to replace mine, which is really crappy quality. ... I really blame Magna for making me love Totodile so much >.>

So yeah. That's pretty much how SakuraCon went for me. It was pure amazing. Pure and utter amazing. I'm sure there's quite a lot of cosplays I'm forgetting.. But I'll edit them in if I can remember them and have the time XD

Awsomes!!! I really miss going to cons!!
Maybe next year I can set aside some money and go to Sakuracon. Pawn the kid off on a grandparent for a few days :3

And after paying through B&W 4x, I picked up my neglected SS and have been playing that. Turns out in that one I hadn't even gotten one gyme badge yet, so theres much work to be done.

*falls over laughing.* Sol and Cro! I could just see you running over, jumping up and down and shouting, "IT'S SOLARA! AND CRO! YAY!" with them going, "...Wat?"

And I still need an espeon plushie. I saw a Charmander once in one of those claw machines, but we only had 50 cents and one shot. So every now and then I'll pipe up, "Mom! My birthday is in X months! I want colored pencils, a pokemon coloring book, and a espeon plushie! Especially espeon! Charizard or charmander if you can pull that off. And Platinum! I want platinum!"

And I still need an espeon plushie.

I have an Umbreon plushie on my crochet to-do list actually =) Now I finally have black wool, I can give it a go xD I'm sure the pattern is easily editable, so I'll give an Espeon a go and post it up! ^^

For those of you who haven't downloaded it, today is your last chance to download the Liberty Pass that allows you to take a boat from Castelia to Liberty Island where the embodiment of Victory, Victini, dwells.

((For you EV trainers out there....Victini gives 3 HP EV's per defeat and as long as he's not caught, you can just leave the room and return to knock him out again. This can NOT be done with Reshi/Zek in N's Castle as they give no EXP when defeated.)

News:

A few new events for the Japanese version of B/W

1: A new Victini-based C-gear skin to tie-in with the upcoming Victini movies.

2: A new book is being released in Japan. This book contains various passwords that unlock various Poygon-based goodies.

A Porygon-Z C-gear skin

A Porygon 2 doll for your Dream World house

and the ability to capture Porygon with the Analytic ability ((Attacks get a 30% power boost if user goes last)).

Lastly...there'll be a tie-in based on Pokemon Cafe merchandise. It is unknown what it involves but it'll be new C-gear skins and new Dream House furniture.

On the American side of things...there's a book called "Pokemon Black & White Volume 2: The Official Unova Pokedex and guide". Inside is a password that'll unlock a Munna C-gear skin.

I finally finished my competitive team and tried out a few battles.
I fought 9 battles, won 5.

Eelvira the Eelektross
BadSeed the Ferrothorn
and Nespirah the Cloyster

Nespi's so far been my top gun XD

She caused one opponent to forfeit XD

I do have 1 problem tho....Held items....can't duplicate >.>

I have 3 Life Orbs:

Gypsy has one

BadSeed has one ((though it6 turns out he doesn't rly need it. He has Leftovers atm))

and Eelvira has one ((never got to try her out yet so idk if she'll need it or not.))

My problem is with Gypsy and Eel....they have Stat boosting moves so Choice items are outta the question. Badseed can just switch out after he uses Stealth Rock so he's good there ((tho XT has a Choice Band already. Choice Scarf is outta the question as both XT and Seed use Gyro Ball)). Any help would be appreciated ^_^

the rest of my team is fine: XT has a Choice Band, <3 has Choice Specs, and Nespi has a Focus Sash.

Also if anyone wishes to battle me I'm up for it!
