sigh its to expensive these things

I'm so pissed...I saw a Coatl boy that I really wanted so I offered a bunch of dragons and if they didn't want any then I asked if they could hold him until I got the funds and they said they took him off ah for me...a few days later they said they took someone else's offer of pure treasure...I OFFERED PURE TREASURE AND GEMS!! WTF!! I'm really upset...I really wanted this boy...

I feel for you Tarn. the FR economy is so messed up. sometimes you have to pay hundreds of thousands of treasure to unlock that one empty slot so you can hatch a nest of gorgeous tripled gened, rare breed, matching color hatchings...that end up selling for 10k a pop. :/

there is little or nothing else to do than breed.. i like breeding.. thats what i enjoy the most about the site.. its to see babies come out ... the site is designed in the way that there is little or nothing else to do but this.. so why they cant make it more rewarding is beyond me

All I know is my two coatl babies are still sitting in the AH. At this rate they may only sell for $40k

I keep running out of space. Nightmarefuel keeps running out of space. People keep giving us shiny hatchlings...
I still don't have the perfect sass noodle either, so I can't clear some pairs out yet...

The problem is the market is flooded with babies and there's some sort of stigma against exalting. Either we need to make it so dragons have a limit on breeding or alternatively exalting is far more lucrative.

Additionally, stop breeding dragons that are obs/obs or white/white or things like that. They won't sell. Too much supply, too little demand for them these days. Advertising in other places helps. Go for more uncommon colorations. And if at the end of the day they still won't sell? Exalt exalt exalt.

My friend picked up a DG coatl girl for just 50kT yesterday - and my latest TG girl (with circuit) was just 100kT! So yeah prices have plummeted But you have to be fast to grab the real bargains...

This. I have a few exceptions, but if my dragon is grown up and still won't sell then I will level and exalt it, and more people need to do this. It sucks at first, but, when I have time to do this, I actually make a nice amount treasure. You can't really stop people from breeding the heck out of dragons. It's the most enjoyable part of the game (along with RP.) I'd hate to see a limit on the breeding myself, so exalting does need to be seen as...something better

Exalting is lair space that pays you for freeing it up! ^.^

Yeah, like that mass exalt spree that everyone went on? That really cleared the market up and you could actually sell hatchlings. But I do have to sort of agree with a few people that I've seen: Flight Rising just isn't meant to be a breeding-profit site. There's no way. Not with how fucked over it is already. So to get treasure, they seriously need to overhaul the game system -- they gave Puzzles a better treasure payout, which is nice, but it needs more fixing than just that.

What I think they really need to do is get Adventuring out. :c

The game has sort of run into a wall. People are out of lair space. There is an overabundance of everything with no room to place them.
