Dunno how it's coded but maybe they could/should look into globalising those pop-up messages we sometimes get in the Coli to warn of (planned) downtime. Would help a bunch if we're planning stuff x)

I'm really hating the Water flight at the moment. Fire and Lightning planned to switch dominance between them for the next two weeks and Water is ruining it...now the site is down. There's raffles and everything.

Ice actually Junrei. But yeah, I totally feel you there.

Wow like we knew what you guys were up too, just so you know this has been planned for almost 2mnths

So has Ice/Fire's dom push..well maybe a little less. XD Been a heck of a battle though Syl. Gotta say it's been fun. Tomorrow is gonna be crazy if they get the site up anytime soon. It's that close a race.

And for the record, I'm not hating Water XD Sad we're not in the lead during down time. But I have nothing against water XD It's been a hell of an exciting week. Dom pushes that are this close are crazy fun.

What's the point of a big exciting dominance push if there's no competition? A big raffle/group effort would be just silly if there wasn't some sort of opponent to fight against!

Thanks Seren, I've enjoyed it too so has a good deal of our flight. It was unexpected but it seems to have a lot of the site involved.

Same with Fire Syl <3 And it really has. Makes it all the more fun!

Competition from straight up exalting and no raffles is one thing. Trying to screw over a raffle(especially that involved two flights) is another. That's just being a poor sport and it feels very rude especially when they know about it. To me, that's purposely sabotaging an event.

But hey. it's a rant thread, therefore I'm allowed to be miffed about it.

But fire's back in the lead so I'm not as miffed.

Sorry Junrei you can be "miffed" all you want but its bullshit saying we are sabotaging you. WE have PLANNED our RAFFLE and PUSHY since the END of DECEMBER can you say the same thing?

Anyway...I hate it when you see a dragon you REEEALLY want, but it's soo overpriced...I even make and offer that was close to what they wanted but it wasn't enough :/ I see it's still in your lair, IS MY FRIGGIN OFFER STILL NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU!!?

I thought the whole idea of dominance was to fight it out between the flights Since when did it become - oh it's our turn this week? I can understand flights easing off when its a particular holiday for sake of lore/RP...

Besides, it wasn't THAT long ago fire and ice had dominance - talk about being greedy....

Also, while I like dominance pushes, I always end up losing dragons I've been searching for for quite awhile I've been searching for a Mulberry/Forest/pretty tert Iri/Shim male for what seems like FOREVER. I used search, saw one with AQUA GEMBOND!! AQUA!! MY LOVE!!...exalted... *grumbles*

Also, someone said they'd buy my Coatl once they got paid on the 4th. It is now the 8th :/ This makes me never want to hold dragons for people ever again. He's worth less now, and I need a Coatl scroll...

Actually since I joined FR back in October, Fire only had dominance once(during my birthday). So no, it's not greedy. Plague's had it like 5 times. I think Ice only had it once during the holidays. Water's had it a couple times I think. The one I see that has it the most often is Plague. I know Nature and Shadow had it atleast once.

Syl - I said it FEELS like it, not that it was actuality. Please don't read to deep into things that's in a rant thread. This is a place where we voice our frustrations. That was one of them. I don't know when the raffle was planned. For all I know, it very well could have been planned during that time too.

FWIW, I joined in September and since then Fire has only had Dominance twice. But that is neither here nore there. It's just a game XD I can understand getting frustrated but in the end, it's a game. It's nothing to get mad or snarky over, so relax guys.

And I agree with Zhuge. Personally, I have been having a blast with this battle. It's been really crazy watching Fire and Water swap dominance this week. Whoever wins, it's definitely one that will go down in FR (albeit short) history. According to FR's Facebook page over 70,000 dragons have been exalted this week.

When I joined in October, my friends said that going for dominance was a hard fought battle - hard work but fun ^_^ I just didn't understand why Junrei seemed so mad that some other flight 'dared' attempt a push just because you guys had planned something xD Sorry hun, but that's how you sounded and I'm guessing that's why Syl got upset Heck, without the battle it removes the fun me thinks :3

Nature keeps making half hearted attempts at a push (unplanned, spontaneous and pathetic really, but that's another rant lol) - I wouldn't expect the other flights to just let us win xD

I will happily accept Plague's frequent dominance pushes. xD We don't usually have that much competition, but man, that fight against Nature a while back actually had me participating and watching the ranks. I love battles- plus man, they do great things for the market. Not long-lasting, sure, but if you want to sell a batch of exalt fodder, you can get up to 10k a baby and it's fantastic!

Yeah I wasn't trying to come off as on a high horse. I was just venting. ^^; Cause I thought that's what the thread was for? So I was frustrated and just wanted to get it out. Plus I guess I just feel bad for those in Fire and Ice that won't get what they worked for, I guess. I didn't think that was an invalid reason to be a bit frustrated and sad.

But yeah, I've really been trying to help Fire win this one. I dont have a lot of gold, nor do I earn it easily, but I've still been just exalting my babies I've hatched and buying stuff to exalt.

I think since I've joined back in june, Shadow has had it twice.
Once sometime in like... ssssseptember? october? i dont remember the exact month. and then recently for our festival.
tbh i dont even think that our festival one counts because that's almost a given.

Yup. Shadow has NEVER had it except for those two times.
