Couple of random ideas I was just thinking about. Is the Panda Cub minipet texture able to be applied onto the adult bear? Just out of curiosity what a panda might look like on that form. x)

Also, are the Devilsaur textures able to be mapped onto the baby Raptor minipet models? As close to baby Devilsaurs as we'd get if they are. :3

i absolutely adore the blueish black eagle w/ white head and the firey orange/red eagle (can you imagine that on fire?? a true beast-phoenix) Also... wondering if the cat models skin can be applied to their saber counterparts, would love to see the moonstalker print applied to the big saber models :3 (also interested to see veph's panda idea, im starting to become a bit of a panda fan with MoP lol)

the "mount" type scorpion (Madexx...) on reg scorpids...

Both good thoughts. Both switches should be possible. Can't say how good they''ll look till I try it. The one unfortunate thing is that the panda cub skin is only 128x128 while the other bear skins are 256x256, so it's only a quarter of the pixels. It'll probably look a bit rough.

Can you do wolves Wain? Normal scraggly ones and the big ole furreh ones! I wish there were more ghost wolves though.. Or like a shadow/shade wolf? Idk if you could make one though :3

I did do monkeys... early on when I didn't know much. I do want to do gorillas. I'm mostly trying to pick families that don't have many colours, but every now and then I just pick something I just like.

ok, i probably haven't seen the monkey, but, like you said, it was early on. so you could try them again! and see how much you've progressed!

this little scene cracked me up XD

It's been a while since I posted any of these! Recent versions of WMV seem to be a bit screwy when it comes to wolves, and a few other things, so I thought I'd give Azerothian chimaeras a go.

Here's the first batch. I hope to post some more later.

A few stark whites with different-coloured manes. Black, Gold, Copper, Teal. I think probably the black and the copper work best. The teal is probably too reminiscent of the in-game blue one, even though this one has a white belly:



Two purples. Lavender and Dark Purple. I'm really fond of the dark one:



Magenta. The wings are very iridescent. Not sure if it works or not, but I included it for interest:



Plain grey. Simple but I think it's pretty effective. Maybe a bit too close to the lavender one (above).

That first silver one with the black mane looks really awesome! Reminds me of a gargoyle, and the veining in the wings can totally double as cracked stone. I think the dark purple one is my favourite though. Such a rich, velvety shade, and those blue eyes really pop! I love how the blue tone continues in the mane as well. It's beautiful. Gah, I wish we had more deep, shadowy purple pets like that.

i love your dark purple one and your dark grey one, those would be amazing in their respective zones (perhaps a new gilnean settlement that happens to intrude on chimera territory for the dark grey ones or maybe the introduction of a new type of chimera species to gilneas as a zone (not as the quest-version of the zone) and maybe a dark abandoned cavern where the twilights hammer worked, nothing living but the dark purple chimeras but there could be remnants of a big operation in the caverns and corpses lying around as if the chimeras invaded and killed them all to make the cave their new home-- or possibly reclaimed home)

or...... we could have the tomb of sargeras become a visitable zone and they could be part of the creepy crawly shadows that killed gul'dan, they and some other freaky beasts could be manifested from sargeras' terror and trapped to walk in the waking world but luckily for us still trapped within the tomb
