It's not exactly like you can just stop now anyway, not after all this time. Whenever I pop into Deepholm now, on my high populated server, the place always seems so dead of campers. If there ever is any, it'll only be the one person, normally on a Time-Lost Proto-Drake. Is it similar on your realm? Cause if it is, I'm totally finding it really bizarre that you've only seen Aeonaxx once.

There definitely seem to be some regular names I see in the /who list, but surprisingly I don't actually see many other campers. I do stick to the Northern points though, I don't really have much hope in catching a Southern spawn anyways, and with the increased traffic by the temple door, I feel safer staying up here. There might be campers at the other points, but I wouldn't know. I don't circle, I just have my spot and hover there. x) SOME DAY he has to show up. >_>

I think it would be a good idea to pass by other spots every now and then. I camped just outside the Stonecore entrance, and I believed that I could see 4/6 or maybe even 5/6 spawn points from that spot. Not sure if it matters or not, can't be arsed right now with looking up on aeonaxxresource.com to check, but my view distance and everything is set to max, I don't know if that would help see Aeonaxx from further away or not though. Anyway, I would always fly just a couple seconds towards the temple entrance to see if Aeonaxx was there, then fly back again and slightly around the other way, then back to my spot. I knew I didn't have to fly far since Aeonaxx is massive and can be picked up from a mile away. But perhaps try doing that every now and then? ^^

Mine spawned at the point that was pretty much directly in front and below me though, so I didn't get to test out how far away I could see him from really.

Yeah, I stick around 44, 49 so that I can see the two NW spawns, then I have my boyfriend's character parked at NE. I can also see SW2 from my spot. The thing is, I figure I may as well focus on certain ones since if Aeonaxx did end up spawning way down south, I'm sure someone else would grab him first. I know there's a chance I could get there in time, but there's also a chance he could spawn right in front of me in the north, so I just stick there.

Hrm... It still seems strange to me that after all this time you've only seen one Aeonaxx. And an engaged one at that, blargh.

What phase are you in? I know it's not supposed to matter, but I have heard of people having issues in the first/second phases of Deepholm, basically the phases before you've completed the whole Deepholm questline. Stories about people's NPC Scan going off and not being able to find him, or seeing him spawn and then despawn again in a couple of seconds like Blood Seeker.

I've fully completed Deepholm for Loremaster. I'm not worried that it's a phasing issue, it's just my horrendous luck.

Hee, I think I've got an hour or two left in me maybe before I pass out for the night (morning? whatever, lol)

If you get down about this at all, Veph, just remember that when you do finally get him the wait and the pain will be well worth it.

Aeonaxx the purple shale spider didn't seem to bring me any luck last night, but today Jadefang was up so I've named him Phosphor and hoping he might have some of the good luck that my Tiny Shale Spider minipet has given me in the past.

Been here for about 7-ish hours today so far. Definitely staying on till realms go down tonight.

And if you order a Blood Seeker tonight you'll also get a heart attack on the side, free of charge!

Just remember that one of those Blood Seekers will one day will be an Aeonaxx.

Ended up passing out last night, I had been planning to check back for the hour before realms went down for maintenance, but I didn't make it.

Getting so discouraged over this, I just have the most atrocious luck. I can't give up though, I want this dragon more than anything.

But it's true! Aeonaxx spawns instead of Blood Seeker, doesn't he? So, one day you'll see him instead. And he has an even wider visual radius, so you'll see him even better.

*bleary yawn* Been out here all day again...nothing since the realms came back up. T_T
