You at NE1? /tended to favor NW2 for watching three at once unless there was nobody around, then sat on the pillar-top south-east of it for watching four

When I was still camping good ol' Aeonaxx, I took off my headphones for a few minutes, stretched, and went to get a book while I waited.
I looked back at the screen, and NPCscan had gone off, with Aeonaxx's picture at the bottom. I freaked out, because there was another camper nearby, and I whispered him "Did you get it?!"
I waited about 10 seconds, although it felt like forever, and I got no response: so I figured he was busy with the whelps phase.
Then I look around the corner of the Temple of Earth, and my heart stops. Aeonaxx is there, just one spawn point away from the other camper!!
I never did get a response from that guy, I think he must have broken his keyboard in frustration.

So don't be stupid like me, be alert at all times, and camp well with the knowledge that you WILL find Aeonaxx.

Agreed. I had just decided to make one final lap before bed, and the alert went off after I barely started moving--I hadn't even left the pillar-top I was hovering over!

Nope, I'm at NW2. I've got all the northern spawns in my sight. ^^

Wow I've read this since page one, what awesome luck you have with mounts!! I'm sure its also hard work and determination (i know im a mount freak too - 4 yrs of farming for my fiery warhose!)

Good luck with aeonaxx! He'll spawn when you least expect it (he did with me anyway ^.^)

Instead I've been camping north so some lucky 82 druid got him.

;w;!!! I saw this on tumblr and haven't figured out how to comment on posts there so I came here to say that I am so sorry you missed him. I know it sucks, and this sounds trite, but the longer you keep at it, the more probability is in your favor--the entire reason I also camped north is because south is almost always watched...and even when it isn't, unless it spawns under you it's easy for someone to just stumble on it. Reminds me of my Vitreous grind, which also turned into a 'hold out until probability finally kicks RNG in the nuts.'

*hugs* you'll get him hun. Its frustrating as heck now but the joy and joyness youll get when you finally get his ass will make it worth it all *hugs*

I hope you get him the next time... :/ Urg. Nothing worse than someone who is clearly either an alt or doesn't even know what Aeonaxx is getting the mount.

There's totally a pattern here as far as sightings go (Aeonaxx, Blood Seeker, Aeonaxx, Blood Seeker, Aeonaxx, Blood Seeker).
But yay for a 5 hour break!
