I just feel that the Nintendo/Game freak has the right to release the product first and merchandise first, before fan-made items should be sold. I feel as if they are stealing someone else's hard work without permission for money.
I had a feeling it was. I saw a plushie made of Fennekin in less than 24 hours! o.O It's insane. Pokemon is a huge franchise though, these things will happen when people get excited. We can't really stop it. However, I do agree with you. If someone wants to make a plush and keep it, that's fair enough in my eyes. But if they sell it when Nintendo haven't even had a chance to sell their own products on the games yet... that seems almost unfair. If they'd make plushies of the legendaries and kept them though, or basically just didn't make a profit off of them, that seems fair.

Like you said though.. Its going to happen. Its like MLP plushies. Yes, I know MLP has introduced their own plushies but lets be honest its only the main ones and they kinda suck(or so I've seen). That being said I see people who make Big Mac, Dr Whooves, Derpy, Discord, etc and do commissions for people. It sucks but MLP probably wont ever release plushies of THOSE ponies. With Pokemon, yes the legendaries will be made into plushies but whos going to say what the quality of them is or if they look terrible, then you know there will be Pokemon that people like and those wont be made into plushies at all. I feel quite this way about Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. Could I get a liscensed plushie of him? Yes. Will I? No, it sucks and its ugly. I'd have it made for me.

The point is that it's out of respect for the original creators to let them release their merchandise first and *then* you can go about selling your own stuff. All in all though, it's not a big deal. Nintendo are going to make shitloads out of these new games anyway and people will buy their merch when they release it.

Well yeah Nintendo has hit a gold mine with Pokemon really. They can release the same game just with differnt sprites and a few new things added in and they make so much money! Other games that do that don't do so well XD

Great night this is >.> doesn't help that I've been having sleeping problems lately either (It's like... 2AM here as I post this)

*offers hugs* Was there a significant reason to why it happened or was the love just no longer there?

They say falling in love is easy....staying in love is the trial.

I... Have never watched Adventure Time until now... Wow. It's good but the first episode I saw by chance was "I Remember You". Holy crap man. This is a kid show on Cartoon Network and its THAT deep? I bawled my eyes out when they played the song "I Remember You" I literally couldn't stop crying. It was that sad. A cartoon has never made me so sad before...

*sigh* The guy who worked on Adventure Time and the guy who worked on Regular show both worked on The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. That's why their styles are similar. Not that they are copying each other or are trying to steal each others styles.

They both are wonderfuly awesome shows.

Edit; I realise I did this under one about Adventure time. XD I was venting on some so called "Animation snobs" comments on the shows.

Both of us have some, well, personal issues (I think I shared some of mine when I introduced myself on this site), and in the last few weeks that often bumped into each other's, ending up in a fight... We'd make up later, and everything was fine again, but it just continued to happen...
So last night it happened again, and when we got to the point of making up again we sat down to talk about it. We both agreed that even though we love each other, like, a lot... Going on like this would hurt both of us.
We kinda left each other in peace with that... It's just that I'm having a difficult time accepting it, like, I loved him, a lot, and now it's over... :( It's tough

It's gonna be tough....but know this....you're gonna be okay, hun. It's hard when personalities clash like that....and it's a shame you couldn't find another solution.

I have a court date this week, I've never been to court before.. It's gonna be all kinds of ugly. Some Reaaaaaly horrible people from work got fired and now are sueing the collage for unfair dissmissal. I've been draged in as a witness, and best part of it is these people hate me too and made my working life hell for the last 7 years. I get so nervous and my stomach knots even thinking I might have to be in the same room as them.

I have a massive meeting with all the big wigs from the company in like 10 minutes and I'm crapping my pants, I'm actually a very little fish in this big company, I really wish it wasn't me. Well I better head over and see how it goes... wish me luck :|

Good luck!

Some friends on an IRC channel were having fun in doodleordie.com today, so I signed up and broke out my tablet and did a few doodles. One of the first ones I got was to draw a self portrait (and "do it well") so I saved it for a bit later and cranked it out, well, hey, it was fun. Almost immediately the next person on the chain (who has to describe the picture) is basically a troll account, and goes off on some rant complete with "dumb anime skank". Now, not to worry, I got a hearty laugh out of this (and the guy was quickly reported by several people for chain-breaking and offensive commentary), but I still am looking at it wondering which part of it tags as "anime" because, I mean, for one thing, I actually bothered to draw a nose.

It's funny how some people will go out of their way just to try to ruin someone's mood. Didn't work though. My current thought however is "Darn! That actually came out really well! And it's not a style I usually draw in. I should have watermarked it."

When people on this forum blank your ideas and then claim them as their own.

I'm pretty angry at my neighbors, and a bit at myself for not calling someone. I really -should-, because they have this big, beautiful dog that I'm certain they're neglecting. They're feeding him, I think, but they leave him outside every day, and it's currently the middle of the winter. As far as I'm aware, this dog is old, has arthritis, and the weather outside is currently between 20 and 30 below with windchill. The neighbors have two other dogs, and I'm afraid they'll do the same thing to them when they get to an age or state that the neighbors feel they can't be bothered to take care of them. :/

I don't see people inforceing rule No.2 yet that happens ALL the time. I don't think you should bring this up only for one thing and yet not for others. :/

People dont enforce that as much because in the rant thread it isnt that big a deal. However posting about the forums will get fights started. That being said, no offense but you just contributed to rule number 2.

On-topic. My rant? Why do I keep getting put in instances with people that all speak spanish, seriously its like theres me and then 4 spanish speakers. But I dont ever know what they're saying other than... Mage! Mage! Mage! Seriously, the tank in my last group yelled "Mage!" at me like seven times then started typing in what looked like really broken Spanish.. I still dont know what he wanted and then I get kicked..for standing there while I waited for the healer who died to run back in. o.O
