Answer: A looong time ago, back in 2013/14 a petopian got helped to collect some money , so they could buy a dragon. The money were raised so fast and effective that the person said it was the mafia.. and the name stuck.

Welp, I'm about to be a complete turkey buzzard, so I apologize. There are so many nice hatchlings and finished projects and outfits since I last posted that I don't even know where to start. I'm a non-traditional college student with midterms coming up this next week, and AQ40 dropped in Classic, so I haven't been a good FR Petopian lately at all. But I’ve loved seeing everyone’s hatchlings and completed projects and outfits, and I apologize for not singling everyone out by name.
Here’s my most recent hatchies of note. All are free to Petopians; let me know here or send me a pm in FR (same username) if you'd like one. The first Fae is a 6th gen Naomi, the next two babies are Mafia grandhatchies, and the next four Faes are GormanGhaste's grandhatchies (the final 2 colorful Faes aren’t Petopia related):

AcadiAnne - A very nice babyboom
Got a pinglister for Electron & Jolt so bred them. 3 hatchlings
Gave Indy Stitched & Patchwork and Marion Stitched. Eventually, once I get gems Indy will get glowtail and Marion will get Glimmer, but for now they are on a nest. I know they prolly yield more blend than patchwork but I just really like blend on Marion so yeah
