ARGH I am ready to pull another hunter through my screen and slap him sideways ><
This is the conversation I just had with another hunter:

him > deth'tilac was just up
me > yeah I figured as much, saw him last night about this same time
him > I killed it
me> why?
him > an ally was trying to get
me> I'm against killing hunter pets
him > why? it's fun :O
me> it's rude, people take this game way to seriously
him > I don't take it seriously lol

At this point I ended the conversation before I got mad but I'm thinking to myself "how can you say you don't take this game to seriously when you just KILLED a hunter pet all because someone of the opposite faction was trying to tame???"

I HATE HATE HATE that mentality! A hunter who kills hunter pets... I wish.. all his pets would.. run away or something.

Sorry just had to rant, I am so sick and tired of fellow hunters thinking it's fun/funny to screw other hunters over.
For the love of God, please Blizzard fix the damn claiming system

Edit: I realize maybe I take the game to seriously since it bothers me so much

Aotona is pretty....but she has just as many flaws. ;3 She looks like a pmsing bird.

rofl. I tamed her just because I felt bad that I kept killing her. I also abandoned her like three days ago, too.

Can you get it as horde? o_O Or no? And yeah, 25 statues, but it spawned twice and the first time I was too low level. :X

yeah you can get it as horde. just harder to get to. and my all time record was 210 statues

I got mine on first statue the first time, 3rd statue second time, and 4th statue 3rd time (3 different hunters), and my daughter got hers on 4th. That cat loves me for some reason.
And yeap, horde can get, just be careful if your low level to avoid the quest giving alliance NPC's.
No quest required, they just pop all over the ruins.

I almost killed Karkin today to keep a b*tch from taming him. Perhaps I don't need consoling, but maybe ya'll want to throw things at me instead. All it would have taken was one counterspell, icebarrier, use the haste buff to frostbolt him to death...he really doesn't have a lot of health.

It all turned out good in the end though! The main hunter I was trying to help get him didn't, but a friend did and that was okay. So I didn't have to kill crabby.

I've done that with many rares. One in fact, being Skoll. Another hunter landed, and I pst'd him saying: If you even try taming, I will kill it before you can think about it.
In the end, it turned out my friend already had Skoll, so I pst'd the hunter again, and said, all clear to tame.
It's a sad thought, but my friends gotta tame rares some day, eh?

I think I'd be sad if I was the hunter whispered. That said, I'll admit to helping some hunters and loling while others died (Not gonna lie). I'd also lie if I wasn't tempted to /shoo certain hunters off.
