I have no self control. Scraped together all of my remaining funds on this guy but I have no regrets.

I have a love/hate relationship with the AH. I love looking at all the dragons and color combinations people are selling, but then I hate it when I find something beautiful that I would love to have because I don't have the money for them.

Here's hoping I can make a little money off some of my first born in a few days. I'm scared they'll all come out bright pink like their mother, though. x.x

There's a really handy guide to the basics on the first page of this thread, made by Tyger.
You should keep your dragons fed every day if possible, and for now you have enough food to do so. In time you will need to hunt/fish/etc. for more food, unless you simply buy all the stuff with treasure, which you can make by selling dragons, playing faire games and so forth. All the sections have a help page that you should read to understand it all better, I was very lost for the very first hours too. Also, make sure to incubate your eggs every day, so that they don't die. In five days you'll have babies!

There are tutorials everywhere once you start the game for the first time. Please read them! They will answer most of your questions. And if you ever need to access them again, I believe the question mark on each page will pull them up. The Encyclopedia and forums can also be helpful too.

Its a big laggy sometimes.. or is it just me? but i like the cute dragons.. just wish i had chosen black and white for my dragons instead of the green/purple i thought it would be darker.. ohh well

Currently the site is running off a single server, they had another server up but realised that it was to far away from the main server, and thus didn't solve the laggyness. They are currently trying to locate a 2nd server closer to the main one. The site itself is fairly new, and they are still working out kinks, consider us the "live realm" guinea pigs.

Everyone seems to be really nice and patience on the site, and helpful. The admins have awesome senses of humor and have given all active members gifts when things get really bad.

I feel like the sluggishness of the server should be mentioned with all of the other guide stuff on the front page. >_> It's an issue that's already been brought up and discussed multiple times. xD It might also not be just the server, if they don't have a really good router (I think that's what my fiance said but I'm having trouble remembering) that could cause a lot of lag on the site as well. Not to mention (as has already been pointed out as well), every time the server hits 00:00, everyone rushes to log on and take care of their dragons and do their dailies, thus more lag than normal.
