Added the new Vicious War Raptor:

The only beast called a "bloodtusk" is a riverbeast. There was also an art contest winner of a hyena-mount a little while ago, but I wouldn't describe hyena's teeth as tusks. But I'd guess a piggy.

I hope the vicious alliance mount is as cool looking as that raptor. A ram could be cool. I don't think a mechanostrider could pull off viciousness (a gnomish spider tank might).

Mount notes after the recent build:

1: A tragedy...Greg the Gronnling lost his name....he is now Gorerider Gronnling. He will always be Greg in my heart.

2: Multiple clefthoof and elekk mounts were added to the journal. It looks like if Clefthooves had one color, elekks had it too. The only exception was the red clefty. There were even the Iron Horde Elekk and Clefthoof in there. This leads me to believe there may be a faction split here.

Note: The Iron Horde mounts are labelled 'Armored Elekk' and 'Armored Clefthoof'. The clefty is currently derped and showing a female of my race in my current armor as the mount...

I noticed that Ragewing, the Proto drake boss in UBRS, is using a brand new model! Could always be a mount later!

That new proto look is designed for the original model, so there's no reason it can't be used on a mount as well. The mounts just use the wild skins plus a saddle.



For anyone chasing them, the skins are named KorKronProtodrake_NoArmor.blp and KorKronProtodrakeHair_NoArmor.blp

Its a REALLY nice color!

If that becomes a mount I will forgive Blizzard for removing the black proto-drakes.

Me too, but only just

I noticed the Draenor hydras have a mount animation set on Wowhead.

Wouldn't surprise me if those giant hydras with raid boss level health ended up being the ones to drop hydra mounts once they presumably are brought into existence.

Ha, that's what I was thinking! I'll always hate myself for not getting the plagued, but if we got this as a mount (and hopefully a dungeon drop at that) it might help a little bit.

And don't get my hopes up Rakurai, a thunder hydra mount would be beyond amazing.

Not sure how I feel about that honestly lol. It always pains me that I never got the ZG mounts during BC, especially since I saw the tiger drop. But over the years I've just accepted the fact I'll never get one. But now.. I have never been great at making gold... I've gotten to 300k but 999k? That's impossible for me. And thus I have acquired a new sort of pain.

I have the old ZG raptor and I think this is neat for those who missed out on it.
