Blaze and Shade decided they wanted to play in the corn patch. Shade has the most soulless eyes of any beast I've met, I think.

Testing out our whelp mini-pets following us in the air, I got a neat little screenshot of Indi, Khaz, and Char. You can't see it too well, but Indi and Char are looking at one another.

I have to agree with you about Shade's eyes. That worg just has this creepy look to it, like it's 2 seconds away from going on a killing spree or something. I get the feeling that Blaze put him up to the game. Shade seems to be a bit too dignified to initiate something like that

And on to your second pic: Can all flying mini pets follow you in the air or just the whelps? The bone gryphon is kind of intimidating.

Shade is a very creepy worg, but at least he's protective of Rose.

And I'm not sure about the mini pets; I just saw a thread floating around here about the whelps being able to follow us now so I tried it out with Char. I'll have to mess around with some of my other flying ones.

To answer Myri's question: From what I can tell playing with my mini-pets is that non-flying pets will run on the ground (although when you land, they fall out of the air, which is kind of weird) and flying mini-pets will follow you in flight. Tried it with Indi's mini jouster to make sure it's not just the whelps. :3

That's interesting Tyger. I remember seeing one of my whelps do that, but when I tried it with my moth, sprite dater, and miniwing they wouldn't follow. To my knowledge at some point the whelps stopped too. I'm going to get in game tonight and play around with all my flying mini pets before raid XD.

Hm, the whelp and jouster are the only fliers I tried, and both of them flew with me.

Nope all my flyers are working! YAY!

Rose gained a couple of new friends tonight. FotC has really made me consider more pets for her that have a sort of courrupted feel to them.

Without further ado meet Firewing (named for his color):


And Smash:

Smash earned his name as a companion to Thrash, my serpent, and because one of the beetle attacks is a body slam.

Edit: This spider has been nagging me at the back of my mind so I finally went out and tamed her. I'm glad I did; she looks gorgeous with Rose and has that nice, corrupted feeling to her.

*blinks at the wind serpent.* *grins slightly.* Awesome name, I approve.

Myri took an orphan under her wing and showed him some of the sites. His favorite was when we got to visit Westfall and ride in the chopper:


Myri got a little carried away and had to show of her sweet driving skills, causing the poor kid to get sick and puke in the side car. Myri helped the kid clean it up and all was well (just don't tell the next people who rent the chopper what happened). There are no pics because I don't want anyone else to get sick.

Teehee, Myri looks awesome on that chopper. XD

And on a different note...it has taken me 20 levels of riding Rose's hawkstrider to finally figure out what to name him.

Meet *sunglasses* Rodrigo. I have no idea why that name came to me, but once it did, I was like "Perfect!"

They look great together.

Thanks! ^_^ I never thought I would really like hawkstriders until I made the pink/red one my main mount for Rose, and then the armor upgrade just totally suits him.

I love Hawkstriders, which is odd. I used to hate them. Now I think they're adorable - especially Lysender's white one. *Hugs it* He's also my only character that looks good on hawkstriders. >.>
