Okay here's what I have so far. >.>

Tsuki/Moonlight the Umbreon with Shadow Ball, Moonlight, Dark Pulse and Confuse Ray.
Rainy the Vaporeon with Protect, Ice Beam, Toxic and Scald.
Talon the Braviary with Brave Bird, U-Turn (He actually has Fly on him for now), Superpower and Return.
Blazer the Arcanine with Heat Wave, Wild Charge, Crunch and Extremespeed.
Rebecca the Raichu with Iron Tail, Thunderbolt, Grass Knot and Hidden Power (Ice).

The last position is in question, but I've FINALLY narrowed it down to these two.

Blitz the Sawsbuck with Jump Kick, Horn Leech, Return and Swords Dance.
OR
Zev the Espeon with Relect, Light Screen, Physic and Hidden Power (Steel. I'm not sure if that's good or not for him...)

I WANT to change that Raichu's move set so badly... I feel that it's lacking. D:

*frustrated.*

Now I know why people hate Uber-Legendary teams.

Decided to challenge a kid I know. Her team consists of:

Kyurem
Bravairy
Haxorus
Hydregion
Volcarona
Reshiram

You'd think it wouldn't be that hard, but they're allll designed as sweepers. And when they hit hard and fast, there's very little I can do to stop them. Frustrated the hell out of me earlier.

Also the person I was training with (Okay, training meant he would alter his team slightly every day and I'd challenge him to try and improve) ended up having his game completely destroyed by his AR so he can't battle with me anymore.

I haven't played in ages, but I probably still have a few teams on my B/W version if you ever need random practice. At least I never use ubers... and yeah, sweepers are becoming way too overpowered, it's kinda the reason why I haven't gotten back into the game much this time around. I prefer stallers, tanks, and wish passers - most of which are at a permanent disadvantage. </3

Im stuck between choosing a chatot and a xatu for my pokemon party on dimound.
I have a chatot but I want to rename it, but that means breeding and more training
and I always illegally traded a pokemon over from my soulsilver.
hmmm decisions decisions....

Personally I prefer Xatu over Chatot...then again, I dont think I've ever really given chatot a try. I am currently playing my Soulsilver and just got Ho-oh and Latias. Working on my kento badges, I think I have 4 now. My team consists of a Flygon, houndoom, Typhlosion, Swellow, Feraligatr and Linoone (or is it a furret...I am so tired right now).

Trying to draw some pokemon with my new tablet...its like being 3yrs old and having a crayon...need to re-learn how to draw, lol.

I find myself wanting to challenge or try something different in my games, so I'm thinking I'll run a no-evolution challenge or an altered Nuzlocke (Catch first thing, though no dying cause I'm a weakling. I'll think of another restriction.) Beyond that though, do you guys have any suggestions?

I thought I would find a thread for pokemon here. I adore it although it's not gotten as much attention since I started playing wow.

I've played since the golden days of red and blue but my favourite was my Silver T_T Fecking battery.

All my active games atm are Platinum, SS and White. I got Diamond aswell but it sees less light of day as all my prized babies are on the other 3 :3 My Leaf Green and Emerald are also active-ish

I'm not really into competitive battling, I like making the teams and the movesets but I cba with the IV breeding unless it's for a shiny. I like getting a good natured pokemon with great IVs but doing a whole team with perfecto ivs, natures and egg moves just drains me. I dream of making a baller team which has perfect stats etc but umm... just does not happen. :p I get so frustrated when I check them up and the perfect ivs are on the exact opposite stat I wanted them on.

I mentioned shinies, I love shinies. There's something so wonderful about seeing that pink Lugia roll across the screen or look down to see a yellow/gold Charmander hop about after hatching and the sparkles, the SPARKLES. Love it. I do use the pokeradar and chain for them, loads of people say it's the easy way out, not real shinies and practically cheating. I disagree, it can be brain numblingly tedious and frustrating. Down right soul destroying when it breaks on 39 when it's a pokemon you have been working on for an hour and a half and one you really want super bad.

Still my favourites are the ones I have found on the random or ones I hatched/soft resetted for. My first one was Buneary on Diamond then a Magikarp on Platinum. My best experience was my shiny Charmander who hatched from the last egg out of 11 I left with the daycare man. I'd forgotten about it when I started chaining Starly and as I was waiting on the shiny patch to appear my egg hatched. I was in shock.
I don't find hacked/AR'd shinies valuable to myself, don't like them, don't mind if others do it as long as they stay on their carts and don't find their way onto my own. As a result I'm very thorough when it comes to trades.

Anyway if you want to know more I'm happy to blab away.

@Azunara, I think Nuzlocke is a good challenge even without the death thing :) I've also liked the idea of a mono team which you could try although maybe not challenging enough? Personally the non evo team would be cool to see. A team of Phanpy or Igglybuffs taking the champ down. :p You could have a volt tackle Pichu just because you can get them easily.

Also if you guys look it up you will find that it's Mewtwo's birthday today, his 15th if you go by the Japanese release of red and blue.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEWTWO!

hrmm, nice thread here. I don't have Black and white, nor Gold and silver (all the rest of the games, up to platinum). but, on my game, I have a number of legendaries (lugia, Jarachi to name a couple), male and female pairs of all the starters (execpt for Kanto), the national Pokedex, a whole horde of male/female Eevee's, a lv 96 Staraptor, a shiny pichu and rapidash, I've beaten the elite four 20+ times now. I'm still working to finish my National Pokedex (trying to find a way to "colect" every Pokemon out there). I wish I could have Black or White, But I'm happy with my Game currently.

I am trying to think what my first shiny ever was...I think it might have been the ponyta. I know I've also gotten a Buezel, and a rattatta, and a couple Audino's (really easy when chain killing for exp), there was a weepinbell, and a geodude, I think some others. those are the "naturally" occuring shinies I've gotten. Then there are the infinite more from the AR. But I find "AR'd" shinies just dont mean the same. I've limited my use of that code for only specific circumstances.

A type of chellange for the game that I like is /roll 6 pokemon dex numbers between 1-???(whatever your games dex max is) and try to put that party together...for ex: 45,387,12,349,127,3. find the pokemon with those dex numbers and turn them into a team.

I've got to get a team together for wi-fi battles again. I do have one team, but it just cant seem to cut it. I am thinking of trying to find the most obscure pokemon I can think of and toss em in a pot together on high until something productive spills out...What are some obscure rarely/never used pokemon?

well, I've rarely seen people use the basic first pokemon one meets (after the starter, but not evolved) I think that should be true for all the games..I'm not sure. (I have done the wi-fi battles, had a neighbor who let my faimily borrow her wi-fi, sadly, she moved, now, I'm just stuck with hoards of things I want to trade for shines, or rares...)

Anyone know a good guide for the poke radar? I can't seem to get it to go past 10 before the grass stops moving. Even when I one shot everything on the way.

Never mind. I found one on the Serebii forums. Looks like I've been doing most of the stuff right but I was not aware that I could reset mid-chain. Doing much better now :D

anybody knows what uses a dusk Stone to evolve? (in the Sinnoh region)

Do you mean native in the Sinnoh region or just in general? Misdreavus, Murkrow and Lampart (Unova) are the only Pokemon that evolve through a Dusk Stone.

in genral, and thanks. I don't have black or white yet though, (But I do have the Nat. Pokedex on my Platinum) so when I ask a question, I'm refering to everything in the regions prior to (and including) Sinnoh.

What do you mean? Basically I want to use evolved pokemon, but not ones that are common. I want to find ones where when I battle people they will think "Oh, I havent seen that one in wi-fi battle before".

Something like ditto, or dunsparce, is Weezing used much? I want to use stuff that people dont expect.

I used to use Weezing in 90% of my teams during D/P/Pt, not sure is he's any good in B/W though, haven't really looked. Just take a gander at the Smogon Tier list, anything that's not classed under OU or Uber generally isn't seen as much over WiFi (and it can be difficult to beat pokemon you don't see often, most people won't know their attacks or your strategy. They've thrown me off countless times.) x3

Finally tried out the Dream World today, it's pretty neat. Got a cute little Ponyta! Does anyone know if the pokemon you can get off Dream World have a chance of being shiny or not? I also got my Arceus and Mewtwo yesterday.

I have to transfer a ton of pokemon from my diamond into my White. I havn't even beaten White yet, so I've been kind of scared to transfer pokemon over. I am almost finished my national dex in Diamond, I have just under 400 hours into it as well as a full EV trained 100 team, a ton of shinies, legit legendaries and yatta yatta. Its scary to me to think that I could transfer them and they won't be coming back xD But I really want to have decent pokemon to trade over the GTS negotiations, because those are so fun. xD
