Yeah. I've been ripping through there a bit. I'll have to come back and squash some more owls later on.

*eye twitch*
I sold an off-site pet for 2.1 million, so I bought a lair expansion for 800k. Then I went to check what the next one would cost and saw 975k or around there. Meant to hit cancel but hit accept. Oh well... Still have a million and I guess I'm set for awhile lol.

The worst part about gem saving is the fact that it takes forever for people to actually buy my things, feh

Yeah... I'm just sad I never see the silk set outside of the gem one. Although, I thought it was 525 for some of it. Bah, more saving to do.

I found a single piece of the yellow silk set.
If I had any sense, I'd sell it.
But... but I put it on Rozarith and I like it there.

I just want the celadon silk wing apparel for Somnus. I HATE the MP. >( Why can't they just let us buy what we want without having to fight over it.

When you're proud of a pair and have high hopes for them.
When you're praised for the parents and get excited responses about the hatchlings.
Then the hatchlings go up for sale and don't budge an inch

Just had the same thing happen with a coatl pair of mine, Vare. x.X
I think the market is just being hit really hard right now, especially because there's no dom battle going on currently and people are preparing for new members. The previous batch are probably done with their buying for now.

Well there goes my plans on drawing chibi dragons down the drain >.> See I like to sell my art at tables at cons and I can't do that now. Then again they most likely will never know if I did anyway >.>

I can see the reasoning behind not allowing con table sales like that. Homestuck did the same thing.

So can I. Does not mean I don't have to agree with it :p I don't know why they say commissons are still okay tho.
It's what me and my friends call a "Disney move" Hopefully they stop there and don't go down that road anymore!

I *think* it's because you can't sell those at cons? From what I'm reading, it's all about preventing people from, say, opening an etsy store or having a con table where they profit off of mass-producing art. So a commission is okay because each piece of art is unique, but if you chose to then make prints of that art (therefor making it physical merchandise), that's not, because those prints are mass-produced.
And sorry if I'm snippy! >.< Been in a gross mood all day. Didn't mean to let it out on you.

No worries mate. It's just an act that I don't like seeing companies do thats all. It's made me re-think if I want to be part of the site anymore.

I actually don't know any companies that do allow it, to be honest! I mean, clearly people get away with doing, say, Pokemon plushies and such all the time. But it's still totally illegal. Most if not all fan art sales are very much illegal, it's just so huge a market that most companies (especially big ones) stopped caring.
I don't mean that in support of this decision, or against it. It's just an annoying fact about fan art.

Which is a bummer when they won't make or ship an official something in/to my country but a fan artist will.

Most companies well Animation studios and game studios veiw it as free advertising for thier own product. When ever the topic was brought up in the talks we had at animation school with some creators of shows and stuff that's what they said. It shows people like their creations and the people who may not have any offical products to sell of their work especially like it.
If I made a show and saw someone making fanart of it to sell I'd be really happy because it shows that someone liked my work so much that they'd put that much time into it.
You don't want to be like Disney and try and get small schools in NZ shut down for having their characters in a bathroom XD
Anyway that's my views on the subject. Sure I know it's their legal right to do so but it's off putting to me thats all.
I'm going to skip making chibis of their dragons and move to How to train your dragons ones instead :p
