Went through all my dragons to see if I liked the newly added eclipse tertiary, and came to one of my dragons I still had hidden behind a skin. While I do mostly prefer skins, I do want to make my dragons look nice underneath for breeding purposes. One of my dragons with primal eyes had... pretty bad colors, and I couldn't get a nice gene combo with a blue and brown color scheme. Threw away some gems to reroll the colors, and got a dark as hell color palette that looked awesome with this dragon's eyes. Played around with some morphology predictions, and the eclipse gene looked really good with my new color scheme.



...but then I saw Firebreather.


Sorry eclipse, you had your chance to look good, but you were... eclipsed by firebreather.

I been "back" for a bit. Just recently decided to msg ppl to see if the majority of ppl who post here would be ok with me posting here. And I hope I am right in saying that it´s ok that i post

Varethyn - Those firery Gaolers are just so mindblowingly good looking!! Also just adore triple orcas. The Pearly noodles are adroable

i feel a bit.. meh over him and his mate.. not sure they are that great... but ohh well now i gened them .Hard to figure out .. Finding my feet is a bit hard atm but working on it

Little bit of a rant, but this one was a learning experience for me lol. Hatched a batch today, and a bunch of them had ugly color schemes. Several were white, blue, and purple-pink. How atrocious; these things would not survive in the wild with those awful colors lol. Regardless, one of them came out with an interesting color and gene combo; Thistle + Petrified.

I didn't really want another guardian, as I got a bunch of them already and I want to at least make SOME other breeds. I didn't know what to pick, so I just did my usual daily stuff. I then noticed the Crystalline Gala started, so I looked at the stuff they added that I'd likely never u- BABY OWL SKIN?! Needed a baby Spiral, which I didn't have, so I got lucky and nabbed a breed change for a low price.

By itself, it looked pretty good. The coiled body looks great with this primary gene, so I'm keeping this in mind for the future. Then, I bought the skin and threw it on.

I never used a skin for a baby before, so I didn't know how it worked at first. Turns out I needed eternal youth first, so 350 gems down the drain. I think it turned out good though. The piercing green eyes, the colorful "feathers" strewn about, and the rocky nest just feel right. A few small things bother me about the skin, such as the absolutely awful position of the disfigured forehead scratching antler. That thing that's DRASTICALLY off center. Flight Rising's rules for skins are so stupid. Two other skins I like have issues like this, such as leaving wings as outlines rather than just removing them. Either way, a little imagination can fix the flaws, and I'm 99% imagination and 2% never thinking, so it's fine by me!
