So in my efforts to make a specific color combo, I had ended up with two breeding pairs. Both had somewhat decent odds to make the combo I wanted, but I still have yet to reach my goal. However, I managed to breed two breedable hatchlings that are ABSURDLY close to what I want;



The gene combo I want is Orca/Blue/Sky. With the above duo, my chances are now crazy high. The primary will be either orca or platinum, the secondary is guaranteed blue, and the tertiary will be either sky or splash. This means I now have a 25% chance to make the right color combo. Shame I have to wait until May 30th to breed them, but this is a nice thing to see today.

EDIT: Miscounted. There's also a Cornflower color in the tertiary pool, so it's a 1/6 chance. Still better than my other pairs, who are 1/20 and 1/12. It's still progress!

On today's edition of my vibe breeding shenanigans;



I sometimes get some of the wackiest and ugliest color combos when making fodder while waiting for breeding cooldowns, but this is why I like picking random dragons to breed. I wish there was a button to just pick at random so I don't have to click the dropdown, look away while moving my mouse up and down randomly, and just clicking and hoping I clicked in the dropdown.

Finally got to breed my three breeding pairs at the same time, but they were stingy and only have a total of eight eggs. Welp, five days until eight eggs' worth of disappointment again! I did some fodder for my ancients as filler to get my other dragons off cooldown, and as usual my ancients lack fun color combos most of the time. Still, two fun fodder colors this time;



I pray we can crossbreed ancients at some point. It's stupid that we can't. They can easily just make it so all the genes default to basic if they're worried about conflicting genes or whatever. Oh well, my ancients will continue to be filler for my other dragons' cooldowns.
