Petopia's back, yay. I can finally flaunt my major success! I managed to finally hatch an Orca/Blue/Sky dragon, so my breeding project is finished. It's a Mirror for now, but I might change it later because this combo looks so good on most non-ancient dragons.


Some amusing notes regarding this dragon; I had the hardest time making a name using my normal naming convention of an anagram from my dragon's gene colors. I always use continuous strings, so I can't use "OCA" from "Orca". I always use the words one time, so if I used "OR" from "Orca", I could no longer use "CA". I don't rearrange letters, so no "CAR" from "Orca". Finally, I don't use the entire word, so no "ORCA" in the name unless those letters occur in multiple genes. My options were super limited here, because almost everything sounded like I was biting my tongue while eating a mouthful of meatloaf. The only names I could feasibly use were Lucas or Lucky, and Lucas just didn't seem right lol.

With that finally done, I'm off to my next breeding project of a Swamp/Amethyst/Mist dragon.

Just an FYI, I will be disappearing Tues night/Wed morning. We have been informed by the sheriff that eviction will happen 11:00 AM wed morning. We are racing to make the rental we managed to get livable. I'm glad we kept it delayed as long as we did.Happy dragoning. I'll pop in until then, and hopefully will have Internet soon. I can get it on my cell phone, but I have no idea how to use the stupid thing.

My goal was to make a Swamp/Amethyst/Mist dragon, and as my luck normally has it, I came depressingly close but just slightly off in my first breeding attempt, with Camo instead of Swamp. Looking at the genes I wanted to use for my goal (Jaguar/Marlin/Firebreather), this one might just be a keeper just because Camo Jaguar looks surprisingly good. It's currently also the only dragon on the site with Camo/Amethyst/Mist.


I had ignored my previous batch of fodder, and I came across one that had really good colors. So, I got to work, and ended up with this beast. Also the only one with the color combo Platinum/Lemon/Cyan on the site.


In other egg news, I only got two technicolor vomit results this time. Had so many eggs this time around, but only two came out looking like rainbow diarrhea. Unfortunate, but they still look wild. The second one is also one of a kind in terms of color combos like the above two lol. I'm on a roll with these it seems.
