I'm happy that I could help :)
I found something that might be interesting for us Hunter too
i found Night Mare, he is a rar, but it is not shown as such on the map
it’s not really there as you can see, it’s just a “shadow”
he is wearing the missing color from the Ardenweald horses
Image
you can see him on the minimap, he's a beast, so I know for sure that he's Night Mare
Unfortunately I have not yet figured out how to get him out of his shadow, but I have found items in the database that sound very promising

Dream Catcher
Item Level 1
Binds when picked up
Unique
Use: Attempt to catch a fleeting dream.
"Even the Shadowlands has its other side...."

Repaired Soulweb
Item Level 1
Binds when picked up
Unique
"A repaired, but inert soulweb. Perhaps someone knows how to enchant it?"

Broken Soulweb
Item Level 1
Binds when picked up
Unique
"Wooden fragments of a soulweb. Not much remains, but perhaps it could be repaired."

Six lovely ardentoad (my name, not sure what they're going to call them) colours have been added in this build:

I hope they become tameable. Such a beautiful model!

Pretty colors.
But I have to admit that the Ardenweald toads really aren't for me, personally.

Something about their thematic seems all over the place.

We need pet pigs, if people don’t like the gnarly boars or the decayed skullboars, can get a pet pig that eats grass, waddles, and oinks, they had adult models in BFA so why not, and now it’s hard to decide on which color of ardenweald or groot toad cuz they all look good

Weird. I think Wain had posted about at least one variant of them being tameable. Might be another mob, or that he tamed it when it was still the Windsteed model (and tameable), idk

Also Hi Muffinus.

Glad to see the birds are ingame. Not too fond of the glow on their bodies that's been overused since Lord Ryolith appeared in Firelands and the unicorns since Legion, but I'm totally grabbing that gold one. I think those will be my go-to pet for Shadowlands, much like Crawgs were for BfA.

Did they actually replace the windsteeds, there’s no way cuz the bird horses don’t have scales, if yes, I hope they can add more npcs in a different part of the zone that use them

What is on their backs and necks are scales or metalic feathers.

Definitely metallic feathers, if it has a metal name, the windsteeds suit the names better, if not, they can rename it to “feather” instead of “back” in the end of their names

It seems like they were replaced, yeah. I figured as much, but I hope the Windsteeds return.

They could be added to MoP as a spirit beast track tame with some fun lore. But I've always been of that opinion. Anyone else agree?

I'm not against that idea. That or just add four different mobs in four different zones that use each of the variants. They probably felt that the Windsteeds didn't really fit Bastion, seeing as they were designed with Pandaria in mind.

Understandable, the bird steeds have the colors needed for bastion, I think the windsteeds were ok in bastion, but the biggest bummer is there’s no black birdhorses and I hope sinrunner remains tameable along with making normal horses tameable

Yeah, all the windsteeds were replaced :( Much as I'm happy to see the new model, I'm sad that one has been removed again.

The site has been updated.

I've so far seen no sign of the new ardentoads. The only frogs I'm aware of in Ardenweald still use the old Pandaria model.

The ardenweald toads will probably replace the old toads cuz they are probably temporary models

Indeed. And I kind of sorely miss tracking tames. They were fun.

I'd happily get some Windsteed track tames in Pandaria and a Blood Beast track tame in Nazmir. (though arguably I just want that G'huun worm as a unique skin Blood Beast. It looks so cool. Can we give that one a little nudge?)

I feel it's one that has gone underappreciated. I don't think it even appears much aside from an earlier season's M+ affix? It's definitely one I'd like to see tameable, and I think it's just about bestial enough that one can get away with labeling it tameable. Just on that cool brink. But that's my personal opinion.

There's still a lot that can be made tameable and that a lot of people want to see made tameable, though, and I feel that if it was decided to make this skin tameable, they'd want to tie something special to it, even if that just means making it a rare. So it might be a while before it's considered. But it's definitely one I'd like to see.

On a semi-related note. I feel like it'd be pretty easy model them to repurpose into a Maldraxxus worm, too.
