I unzipped it into my pet emote folder.

Hm. I download it to my downloads folder, unzip it, and transfer over the folder/files. For petemote, I only have one folder. Try re-downloading it? Perhaps the file got corrupted. Aside from that, I've no idea...

Aha! It works now. Not sure what happened, but it works. ^.^

There's a "whiskers" emote for spirit beasts still....which is greatly amusing on a bear. There's also one for grooming "front paws," which will look....silly....on a spirit crab. xD

ALSO! I had some thoughts on turtles.

Soup hears a loud noise and quickly ducks her head and appendages inside her shell for safety.
Soup wiggles her tiny tail happily.
Soup peers about contentedly.

I like those!

Teigs and I were discussing Nether Rays and how they seem a bit 'soft' for their fearsome appearance. The sharp teeth and glaring visage is a bit at odds with the gentle emotes that match Spore Bats. Nether Rays seem much more likely to be predators in my opinion. Thought I'd make note of some ideas we were tossing around, and some new ones I pondered on. Just some possibilities to get mixed in with the current emotes to give them a bit of an edge.

-gnashing their teeth
-slicing through the air
-predatory glance
-low growl
-lashing their tail
-seeking out prey
-eyes glowing menacingly

Ooh, I like that. And how about:

-twitches alertly
-letting loose a ferocious...moan? I'm not sure what sound they make.
-darts around the area furiously

Hmm.. I think a hiss would sound better, IMO it fits more and, TBH, it's hard to make a ferocious moan. xD

Is it bad I can see the netheray give their mistress an affectionate nip or swat with their tail?

Their noise isn't exactly a hiss, though; that was the only thing holding me back from saying hiss in the first place. Although if it sounds like a hiss to you, then maybe there's enough of a case for it (since the thought had occurred to me as well) in fact being a hiss...

Well, I've never really listened to their combatnoises as I've never had one out for an extended period of time. But to me, it definitely sounds more like a hiss than a moan.

Can get a good feel for how they sound, regardless of the quality of the picture.

I love the new updates <3 you've added some great emotes to pets that never got any love
....and the neither rays sounds have always struck me as between a chatter and a purr lol

I'm having an issue with this addon.
My "/pet" emote isn't working with this. The addon seems to hog the /pe in the emote /pet, so whenever i try to /pet my tamed animal, I instead get spammed by PetEmote help thingie.
Now what?

*nods* PetEmote used to utilize /pet as the command to start things. At some point Jorna changed it to /pe so it would no longer interrupt the default /pet emote, but after another update it's back to not letting us to /pet. I'm not sure if Jorna's going to fix it in the future, but I think she was made aware of it earlier.
