*Curses* Just tried to buy a smoke scroll for a friend while my husband still has the lightning discount and got a freaking gembond even though I clicked on smoke. I'm so ticked right now. Going to have to sell my shimmer scroll just to make up the difference and try again... Since it wasn't my money. I feel ill right now. :'( *Head desk*

if it was some of my money dont sell the shimmer scroll just give me the gembond.. i figure out what to do with it later... as long as i dont get more than the 1 its oki .. ..your husbad ´ndshould still have money enough for 5 smokescrolls .. if they manange to pop up

Ya, it was. We managed to snipe 5 out of the 6 smoke scrolls you wanted. He sent them your way. Don't worry about the gembond scroll. I'll keep it. It's on my needs list anyway. Just hadn't planned to buy it yet. Ugh. We'll have the treasure for that last smoke scroll we missed back to you tomorrow once auctions sell. After this experience I think I'm done trying to snipe the MP for awhile at least until they fix that bug. I hadn't even clicked on gembond. *still irritated*

And now maintenance hits when I'm in the middle of a coliseum winning streak. That's it. I think it's time to head to bed. *sigh*

I was SO worried last night when it popped up that I bought the wrong gene when I clearly clicked the right one. *Hug* I'd heard of other people (even here) having had that happen, but up until then, I'd never seen it myself. Fuck. I'm going to miss the ENTIRE festival, it seems. Ugh. I am so bummed out you have no idea. I wasn't on the site for the first lightning festival and now I'm going to miss this one too.
I mean, I'm excited about camping but.... still.

It's true. Even when I put up dragons that are ostensibly worth something (TG ripple/current with a tight range, f'rex), they just don't sell. If it's not 5k exalt bait, nothing ever moves. I still have nests backed up and I can't hatch them because NOTHING EVER MOVES.

And lair upgrades cost too damn much; I'm already at something stupid like 500k+ for the next one, it's ludicrous. How the hell can I afford a lair expansion if I can't sell any dragons and the dumbass games and daily chores net me like 500t. They aren't even interesting chores.

Aaaaaand yet people still wanna say that "the market isn't broken!!"


What they need to do is really figure out what needs to happen with lair costs because this is fucking ridiculous honestly. No one will buy anything if they don't have the room. And if nothing sells, there's no way to buy the room.

The market is borked. :/ Even a coatl rarely seems to sell for more than 8k- although I don't have any of the new genes.

I can't even get my triple orange to sell.

If it aint at exalt fodder price no one buys.

Are you guys only trying the AH? Apparently making a sales post on site and on sites like tumblr as well help. And at the end of the day, cut your losses and exalt, don't cut your prices. Keep your product relatively rare, there will be interest. That's the tips I've always heard from successfulish people.

Then again, it does help to be well known and have something unique.

But yeah, the market is very persnickety. It boils down to trying to figure out what's selling, exalting if it doesn't sell, and waiting for the day we have open registration so we have WAY more demand than supply.

i know stuff sells better on Tumblr which bugs me ALOT. I dont like Tumblr and wont have an account there... sigh..
