The only thing - only thing at all - that I'm not entirely cool with about this patch is the Heroic-only status of the dungeons. :l Pretty sure Blizzard said quite clearly that Heroics were meant for the more skilled players out of the bunch - and skilled I am not - making them Heroic-only is like flipping the bird to anyone who doesn't do Heroics but loves the instances. :/

Quite interested in that new hippogryph and the birds, though. Rumors are flying around about the Fire Hawks and that they might be new Horde/Alliance mounts or just Glory of the Whatever Raider.

In my fit of excitement, I accidentally posted a similar topic in pet discussion. I'm still coming down from this awesome news! Lets hope it makes it into live!

I think hydras are neat but I'm going to have to jump on the "another 5% crit = sad face" boat. I have my wolf and my devilsaur and love them to death but I was hoping they would have a more unique ability/buff.

Will that stop me from getting the red one? NEVER.

I only posted every known existing hydra colour/model even if it's currently awol so we can hope they will be again I suspect the ORIGINAL ghost hydra may become like the original ghost wolf and not move to it's new family.

I wonder what's gonna happen to the Crokolisk Spirits after the patch though. I don't want to lose my ghost hydra. :'<

...Oh man, I didn't even notice that last night. Erf, as someone who had barely -touched- the dungeons and is intimidated by them to begin with, I can only imagine the rage I'm going to get for being a dungeon-newbie when I try to break into them now at 85 :/

Yeah, I've been antsy as heck all day I want to check Hydras, but also Clefthoof mobs. I say "clefthoof mobs" because I'm not sure if the plural is Clefthoofs or Clefthooves >.> I also want to check the whole Ohgan'aka thing I keep mentioning--to see if she's around and tameable or what!

Wooo!! Now, there has to be an old world green one somewhere still? Please? But even if there isn't...YAY!!!!!!!

At the precise moment there is no alive green one for 100% certain, I linked all currently running around/missing Hydra on the bottom post on the very first page.

As stated back on page 2:

after reading this last night i DL the ptr b4 going to bed. i copied my character over to one of the two servers listed, tried to log in earlier and just a few minutes ago, it said 4.1.0 13682 but had no servers up.

So I was running late for work this morning and checked Petopia out of a knee-jerk reaction, saw this post, and read the first page. My car ride to the store had me giggling like a schoolgirl and singing a little ditty, at the top of my lungs, that went something like this.....
"Taming a Hydra,
Taming a Hydra,
Taming a Hydra,
Gona' tame a Hydra!"
Coincidentally this is the same song I sang on the way back home, quite catchy.
