Any idea of Ohgan'aka is around anywhere, Wain? I'm getting increasingly sad that there's been 0 mention of her this next patch. Forum posts here & on the Official forums and questioning on the PTR trade chat/ZG general channels (YES I'm persistent

No idea, sorry. As with 4.0.3 I can't actually get into the PTR to check. At least not on a copied or levelled toon. The problem has existed for a lot of people since the start of the 4.0.3 ptr and Blizzard has not fixed it, and their community managers haven't chosen to respond to any of the hundreds of posts reporting the problem, so I'm guessing it's something too complicated for them to bother with :/

As fun as ZA was, and as nice as it is to have it updated and used again, I feel like this was a wasted opportunity by Blizzard to bring us Tor'Watha, that OTHER Troll place in Eversong that has an instance portal behind unpassable doors.

So, with all that Firelands stuff--where is it?
I have been through most of the old Hyjal gates first visited while questing, and I see nothing new--I'm clearly missing something >.<

I presume it's a dungeon or raid that isn't open yet. Probably in a later patch on the PTR (?). The patch notes on MMO-Champ did mention Firelands dailies, so perhaps it's more than just an instance.

The Firelands is the raid instance in Mount Hyjal which, as Wain said, isn't open yet.
Looking for the portal? It's in that structure in the center of Terrorpene's lava pool.

High holy sh** that is the most gorgeous cat design I've seen yet. If they make that a tameable beast I'll spent all the time I can trying to tame it.

...*imagines Petopians running around with little white feral druids named Azunara. Okay, probably not, because I'm not that well known or awesome, but still. Scary to think about.*

Is it perched on its forewings there?
If so, I'm guessing it'll be using the Proto-drake skeleton?
The bird looks like it should be so quick and violent, I can't imagine it doing the slow "durr" peering-back-and-forth idles of a proto-drake

Exactly what I thought when I saw the pic.
I hope it's the 125 mount reward or something similar, since there's two versions of it.. I could be wrong, but it's absolutely gorgeous no matter what. And since it uses the proto skeleton instead of the hawk one, it really makes me go "DO WANT" in my head.

This is a complete shot in the dark, but given the filename, perhaps this 'fire cat' is none other then Fandral Staghelm in catform, possibly empowered with fire elementally evilness care of Ragnaros. It seems very likely, as Fandral has thrown his lot in with the Twilight's Hammer. Of coarse, this is just a theory....

It does look like the phoenix is using proto-drake model but it also looks like, due to there being a dip in the ground, it just happens to have its wings down in its flap motion (the claw we can see on the right wing doesnt seem to be clutching onto land, who knows though, maybe thats part of its idle)
Edit: nvm there is no dip in the ground, my eyes decieved me

This makes perfect sense, really. I wouldn't be surprised to see Staghelm show up in Firelands, what with this new model.
That said, the above is an incredible cat model, and I would very much like to see some cats using this skeleton sometime in the future!

Might be a spirit beast, but I highly doubt it.
Still, one can hope that some day that cat model becomes tamable! It's... so ridiculously gorgeous. I want.

That definitely does hint at Fandral Staghelm so chances are it wont be tameable.

Not sure if this counts, but ZG has pretty much every color of wasp, inculding huhuran.
Which makes me sad because I had one heck of a time taming her at 60 (was so fun though) and I liked that few people had her.
Still good for those who want an easier time getting that skin!

Well that cat.. I would.. love to tame.. maybe there could be something like it sometime, perhaps a new spirit beast coming like that.
I am thinking for sure those would be in the new Fire zone: Molten front. Wowhead said its going to be a zone so I am thinking that is probably where a new spirit beast will be if.. we get one.
Those dragonhawks for look like they will be that fire mount that is coming out.
Ive been snopping around.. well eyeballing things in ZG, the new wasp is really nice and been trying to find a safe way to check on the counts but sadly nope.. all.. lead to deaths
