I've always wondered what it would be like to have that sort of luck. I've still been out here in Deepholm every night, putting in as many hours as I can. Last night I finally decided to switch to a new spawn point since clearly the ones I was camping before yielded no results. >_>

Come on Aeonaxx...you'll be the most spoiled dragon I own, I promise! You'll have a good home. ;_;

That can be a good thing! I switched to Quartzite Basin because there was too many people at stonecore area, and he spawned outside temple entrance! All the best luck if you do move spots, it could work in your favor!

My magic spot was 44:49, you can see four spawn spots from it (2 north, 2 south), I really recommend it. it worked for a camping friend too, and she would not have gotten hers if she stayed in her old place (up north). But, wherever you feel most comfortable, lots and lots of Karma and good luck to you!! *hugs*

Stayed up till 6am last night, and I've been pulling longer hours now that the Firelands stuff is keeping other people occupied. It seems like a good a time as any for him to spawn...hopefully?

*sigh* If there's any dormant luck in this thread....hopefully I can wring it out.

Aeonaxx just spawned. NPCscan blared. I saw the pop up. Heart racing, I turn to find out where he is.

He's already engaged by someone else.

First sighting I've ever had, and I didn't even get him.

Going to go die now.

That's one less person who will be camping the next time you hear the alert. Don't give up! Purple begets purple. Or something.

Yeah, the disappointment is understandable for sure. He will look amazing with Sabbath when you do get him though!

Do what I did while I camped. Tell yourself this - Someone may have grabbed Aeonaxx before you, but that could be considered a GOOD thing! That means there'll be one less camper for you to worry about, plus he WILL spawn again! You have to be patient though, very patient.

What I did was wait until a moment in WoW for me that became boring and I never got any 'urges' to go and do something else, so camping became easy. Of course you become nervous to do things like go to the loo or have a shower but that's all part of the thrill. When mine spawned and NPC Scan went off, I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth. I suddenly stopped brushing my teeth and I stood there a few seconds thinking, 'That sounded an awful lot like NPC Scan...' so I walked in to check it out and BAM UNTAGGED AEONAXX WAS THERE. Right below my camping spot too, and I managed to get there just before two or three Alliance guys did if I remember correctly. And then Aeonaxx gives you the ride of your life (It's like a rollercoaster, seriously, I was SCREAMING.) and before you know it you have a mount you're totally in love with.

Please let that be an inspirational story, because I hate to see campers just give up. Giving up means you've wasted so much time and got nothing out of it.

This thread keeps me somewhat sane by posting in it.

I've been parked at 44, 49 for 10 hours so far today. I've been doing other things like reading and watching shows, but I've been present and online for the entire duration. Going to stay here until I go to sleep eventually.

The near miss has made this even worse somehow. Now I'm just consumed with the desire to have this camp finished with once and for all. I've been in Deepholm almost every waking moment since I last spotted him.

I'm sure you'll get him soon! Just keep at it, and remember to give yourself breaks every once in a while. You could go take a bath-- just bring the computer with you and place it somewhere safe!

*tired wave* Just me again, camping some more...no sightings since the last time. Been pulling tons of hours since then too. Maybe I can invoke some Murphy's Law here...

I'm never, ever going to see Aeonaxx or get this mount. I hope I go on through life without seeing him spawn ever again.

Blood Seeker just spawned on top of me. :/ He stayed up for about 2-3 seconds then despawned almost immediately. Well, I suppose it's good that I saw him and now I don't have to waste my night.
