I don't see the sporebat one the way I used to. /shrug It only took me three tries of taming a blue one I guess to make my mind "grow up" (so to speak) and just see them as a normal, lovable pet.

I'm finding that, with sporebats, the more I look, the more I see a bulbous tail that could really use some more polygons. I guess the whole shock needs to wear off for you to realize that no one would actually mistake a sporebat's tail with a penis, not like with that old meat icon (just what part of the raptor did you cut that off of?).

On a related note, I do see the connection with the old world worm models, but am not bothered enough to abandon Aquaregia. I think it helps that worms are typically bent into an 'S' shape in the game, which would be a very odd thing to do to a penis. But, they do flatten out while swimming...

as an avid drawer of penises everywhere in highschool, i must say that i am very disappointed with what can be viewed as a penis now a days, because this sporebat tail, looks like a penis if u want it to, its an illusion, if OP would have NEVER said anything, no one would have guessed you were talkin about a penis

i am actually disappointed with this whole thread

Actually, according to my bf who's been around since Vanilla, these guys have been related to penises since BC, and even wind serpents and nether rays have been called sperm birds.

I wasnt expecting to see it tbh.. i really wanted a sporebat for Predatoria, since i dont got one on Tårnfalk.... I dont know why it hit me.... but i wasnt looking for it.. I really want to like Squirrely (my sporebats name) and when ever i have the pet out i make sure that my camare angle is titled, cause else i would have to dismiss it and is a shame cause they are great pets

So Im reading through this thread, thinking about how much Ive really wanted to tame a sporebat if I had the room but then with the reading of this thread and...Wait a minute. How does that t-bone steak icon look like a penis? /confused.

Then I continued reading and what-not, but still. I was -very- confused for a minute. =P

Mychelle, go back and look at the serpent flesh icon on WoWhead. Now look at the screenshots. The icon changed. There is a screenshot of the original icon, it wasn't always a t-bone steak.

I'm pretty sure she figured it out, after reading the explanations given to an equally confused Sukurachi.

Yeah I had already long figured it out from reading through this thread, I was just recounting a short funny moment is all. =P

Horny kiddoes! Haha j/k. I love my sporebat and don't see it that way at all. The first raptor flesh icon was very ambiguous though, same with the stormcrow amulet the first time I searched for it in my bag "Why the hell do I have a dildo in there?"

I'm surprised the penis rock of Maraudon hasn't been mentionned. That one is almost legendary with the people I talk to.

I thought this thread was gonna show some disturbing hentai fanart for some reason...

After much observation of the sporebat, I have decided it is NOT a penis. It's flat from the side, for one thing. The line goes too far down to really look like the urethral opening at the end of a penis. The shape is wrong. Most definitely not a penis. I can go on loving sporebats without feeling dirty.
