God damn it! I can't afford this pet I don't have a job nor can I get a student allowence becouse one of my folks earns a little over the limit. Stupid world have there own forms of money *walks off*

Anybody know how long the aid thing is going to last and also-- if the mini-pet is still gonna remain in the store after they're done? And any news on the Winged Guardian mount...? I dont have a credit card so i gotta buy vanillas and i just have a wee bit left to spare so if i can get both the guardian and the hippogryph at once then i dont have to pay 10$ to have two cards activated and end up wasting almost another $10 cause damn Mastercard doesnt do stuff like "$10, $20, $30, etc."

As has been mentioned before, it lasts until July 31, 2011. No news on the mount, and I'm sure that, like the other charity pets, the hippogryph will probably remain on the store page.

Oooh sweet its till July 31st!! I will definitely, Winged Guardian or not be able and more then willing to buy this little cutie, i have a lot of oriental (im not sure if that or the term asian is more appropriate when i am not pointing to one specific culture within asia) friends and they were pretty torn about the events, as was i, being glued to the screen till they got too far onto whats going on in Libya and then after that it just kinda faded since it was never mentioned by anyone again till Redith(?) made the post speaking about what nuclear levels in california are back a while ago

I think it's great that this has been released after a time period from the initial disaster. Many charity and donation efforts were largely active during the beginning, and that was when most were giving money. As time goes by there is less focus and people are more apt to forget that the tragedy is still ongoing. Having this show up now after the initial surge not only refreshes everyone's memory, but it's also going to generate more donations.

I saw this advertized on the start-up screen when I was talking to my boyfriend on the phone, and mentioned what a nice idea it was. I logged in to find he had bought it for me! I have such a sweet boyfriend, a cool new pet, and we helped Japan! It's win-win-win!

I dont usually spend more money on extra virtual stuff, but since 100%!! of it goes towards Japan relief, I couldnt pass this up.




it is a pity though that even when something really nice is done, there are still people who will find something to complain about. Hang your heads in shame and may your bad Karma make itself known.

awwweee :3 so cute <3 im trying to nudge my bf a little, drop a couple hints, see if he'll get me one for an early 2 year anni gift, our 2 years is on july 28th so thats cutting it pretty close for ensuring the money goes to the japan relief and not blizzard..

For every Cenarion Hatchling purchased between now and July 31, 100% of the $10 USD adoption fee will be donated to the American Red Cross's Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami relief efforts.

I'm happy that we have until the 31st. Waiting for payday, but then I am so buying this little guy.

They should have put out the lion mount too though. *sigh* Would like to buy it all at once.
