WTB closer models to druid forms, but totally know it won't happen

I bet it is just a Druid of the Talon flight form for some special druid or something. We already have Olm, why would we need another spirit owl with a new color... i would rather have a different bird model for a spirit beast...

Truth be told, Imo, Olm did look very Spirit Beast..ish. However it is not a spirit beast, but rather a bird of prey. It's snatch ability and it also being a cunning pet make it a little less optimum for soloing and in most cases raiding. Now if we were to have a Spirit beast Owl avalible, I know if I (and more then likely a few others) were lucky enough to find it, it would be used much more than my Olm currently does, she normally only gets to stretch her wings more often then not on the pvp battlefield.

We really just have to wait and see with this one, I'm just itching to see it's outcome however.

This looks like Olm but with some fancy partical work going on with his wings (maybe a cloudy aura that emanates from them as they flap, and leaves a trail behind them like the Netherwing Drakes)

Edit: Derp i completely without knowing it repeated everything Wain said in his edit in my own way lol xD This is probably gonna as suspected come off as a spirit beast but i can see it being some friendly being of the Guardians of Hyjal

Looks a little too close to how Olm looks for me to be overly excited about him. :(

All of the spirit beasts, except for Karoma have been unique, something that hasn't been seen before.

Karoma? They have their reasons for making him like the Grimtotem Spirit Guide, which is a pet that cannot be obtained anymore.

Skoll, Ghostcrawler, Gondria, and Articus are all shimmery, shiney versions of common models, true-but there is nothing else in game that has their specific coloring on those body types.

Loque of course is unique in his looks as a pet.

I highly doubt this Olm-look alike is a spirit beast. It would be very cheap of Blizzard to copy an already existing pet look, when before all the spirit beasties have been unique in their own way. As others have said I can see it being some kind of NPC form somehow-not a spirit beast.

I would love a bird spirit beast, though personally I'm hoping for a fox or a raptor version of one first. O_o

Actually if this was a spirit beast it would be unique some what assuming that the particle glow on the wings stays intact when it hits live. No other pet model would has that.

What I would like is some sort of spirit beast that isn't green/blue. I'd like something fiery red for instance, and I'd love something that is not cat/wolf/crab/bird. Devilsaur much?

Green is new. We haven't had a green one yet.

That might be, but green is still a colour I put alongside blue :p I want spirit beasts with warmer colours ^^

Gondia is purple-y pink. That counts, right?
