Oooh. I never noticed that cause my Devilsaur's ability still went off even with a feral druid. Perhaps it stacks? (I was thinking of Heart of the Wild but thats the Kings buff. Doh!)

Devilsaur's also give the boss a healing debuff, hence why it probably showed up.

I played feral pretty regularly in Wrath. ;)

But anyway, there's a wide variety of classes and two existing hunter pets that can bring the 5% crit buff. I'm really hoping that it's a place holder until they fully implement the hydra family.

Ah okay. I didn't realize that.

Yeah I hope they give them something more useful. We got plenty of crit buffers. I wont throw a tantrum if it goes live though.

but we can also do the same debuff, only reason i would see to use it is in pvp so i dont have to keep recasting it (as they nurfed duration)
well...

i seriously think hydras should get 4% physical damage increase, only two pets with it are worms (tenacity) and ravagers (cunning... seems like they mixed these up with moths.... lol)

a ferocity with it buffs all his damage, buffs kill command and out white damage(bm point of view, survival its just auto shot and marks its pretty much everything but serpent sting's damage)

I don't think its the fact a GM said it i think its because all the shit they did for it + every hunter wants blizz to give us hydras (If you dont want hydras then gtfo of this thread) :headbang:

I really don't think it was necessary to say that.

I think the reason they haven't given the %damage increase to a feroc pet (the %magic increase also does not exist in feroc) is that they're concerned that it will be too potent. Min-maxers would be very quick to jump on a dmg-increase feroc pet, and suddenly it's all 'OMG U DUN HAS A WOLF (hydra) U NUB U MUST SUK LRN2PLAAAAAAY' just like back in Wrath. People already get ridiculously insistent that you HAVE to use a wolf or HAVE to use a cat even if the buffs are already covered.

I'm still a fan of the 'blank slate/program your own pet' solution, but I suspect Blizzard has balked at that because it makes it impossible in PVP to see what you're facing. That crab might be feroc (with all that entails), or something else. Part of the reason we never got armor customization is that 'being able to identify your opponent' in PVP thing. If everyone's armor appearance was irrelevant to its nature, people could 'hide' being in PVP gear. 'Concealing' the nature of your pet is kind of the same thing.

Nobody has even once come in here saying they don't like or want hydras so I dunno what you're on about, but even if they did, they are entitled to their opinion just as you are yours.

I might be wrong, but I do believe the devilsaur debuff and widow venom stack?!? (Almost certain Zeilla had it in one of last video's about PVP).

they didnt stack it was a glitch, when you put venom on your pet wont use it, when you cast it it will over take previous debuff, if it stacked a BM hunter rogue and warrior would be the death of any healer in a BG

I want a hydra so I can travel underwater with my pet out and not feel bad that my pet can't breathe! >(

As for useful debuffs, I would be happy with crit myself (I don't mind my wolf, but I'd appreciate some variety) but the physical damage increase would be WONDERFUL. I've never been able to attach myself to a ravager but I'd love to have the buff available.

It was in () it wasn't directed to anyone except and random who came in here just to state that they don't like hydras (Which i doubt would happen but still) :)

But....there wasn't anyone in here that said they disliked hydras. Such a comment is not necessary, even if someone did. They're entitled to their own opinion. Only thing being discussed is many of us don't like they're giving a crit buff to the Hydra after we already have Devilsaurs and Wolves that do that.

Please try to be a little more respectful with your words. :)

Yeah i guess it is just because i am used to MMO-Champ, whenever i'd post something on a new pet to see how many hunters agree there is always tons of trolls. I would imagine there would be trolls on here but meh. Guess i that comment can offend some people. Still don't see why people are crying about it though, was not really directed in any certain direction. Oh well.

And yeah BTW assuming how blizz is they will make it Non-exotic and keep 5% crit buff as only special thing. Blizz never likes to make sense with anything such as this. I personally would like a slow + Might (Kinda like how Shale Spiders have kings and that fort buff from Silithids).
