For me, good manners is less about saying particular words, and more about assuming the best of people, and behaving politely no matter what other people do. These people believed in you enough to stay with you until the end of the instance. I don't understand the hate.

Yes...so much faith the hunters weren't listening to me. They just wanted a free ride. Had I left, they wouldn't have stayed.

I think Gorman's point was something along the lines of: even though you SHOULD have received some thanks out of politeness, your hate-filled rant that you didn't get thanked was a bit extreme. You're entitled to be disappointed in these, but hating on them so harshly isn't really called for.

Not to be taken offensively but...I never once said the word 'hate'. That's too strong of a word. Pissed? Yes. I had every right to be pissed, especially since two hunters were giving hunters a bad name by being huntards. But never once did I say I hated any of the three. I just think they're ungrateful brats. So being pissed off or being really irritated would be more appropriate to describe the rant.

Aye, no offense taken. Just noting that some of your wording was pretty harsh for just being temporarily pissed off/disappointed/irritated.

I didn't mean for them to sound so harsh. Just spur of the moment and just got out of the instance frontal emotions popped out.

Aye, which makes sense, but it came off more extreme than you actually meant it.

Yeah. My bad. I'll put a little note so people don't think I wanna smite these people off the face of the earth. XD

Ugh... I love tanking, yet I hate it. It's wonderful when you have people that are pleasant, be it the odd nice pugger or a friend/guildmate, but I swear that it's such a damned bother when you have impatient jerks pushing you to go faster.
In fact, I just got out of a normal Grim Batol run and all three DPS were massively rude and in a rush. Mind you, I've never tanked Cata dungeons before (even though I've run them a lot on my hunter) and I was trying not to stress my healer by going OMG FAST. Even if I tried to go at a steady pace, the fury warrior I had would rush ahead and start going to town. Apparently his DPS will decrease if he has to wait two seconds. *rolls eyes*
I'm normally pretty patient with people, but if they're going to be snots then I think I'm just gonna have to make a policy of bailing. It isn't worth my blood pressure going up over a game.
