I love these forums, but this is what I dislike about them aswell, it's that everytime you show a tinge of disappointment towards things not living up to your expectations; you get stamped as someone who is ungrateful, grumpy and an unsatisfied whiner.

Really, stop it; it's scaring other people away, the hostile aggression in posts like yours.

I didn't cry, I voiced a negative opinion, the opposite of a positive; well my apologies for not being totally stoked over two other Gondrias ontop of an already WoTLK Gondria. Leave people in their value, I won't attack you for liking those two pets the same way you attack me/us for disliking them. Geez. Get a grip >_>

This will sound really bad but I am going to say it anyway.

I personally would rather have no pets added to a patch then to have a dozen (or more) reskins or unused skins put in the game. I'd rather have the promised Path of the Titans that never happened instead of new reskins. But that's just me.

I am more then thankful for the beast gifts we have been given and the work that has been put in. But I would trade if given the option.

I really love this cat! I love the Gondria model, but Gondria herself simply doesn't match my main. And I have this thing about colours matching. The white one didn't match, either. Blue, however... blue is perfect! Very happy about this pet and very glad to see more unused skins getting put in. Noah, if you're reading this, thank you very much for listening to what hunters have been asking for!

And, if you'll recall, there have been plenty of us who've asked for these skins to be put in. They're gorgeous, and I personally am very glad to see them getting some love. And if you don't get what you want in this patch, there's always the next one!(:

I think it's more the fact that we hunters have lately had the tendency to look a gift horse in the mouth. We're being spoiled, but a lot of us don't seem to realize it.

Also, you're being rather hostile, too. How about you both tone it down a tad?

Giving us some (so far) mild reskins is lame. Nerfing Careful Aim on top of that is even more lame. Not having our classed balanced 6 months into the xpac is super lame. And no, people whose opinions differ on this do not have to STFU, thank you very much

I'm not at all being hostile, maybe temporarily due to retaliation, but not at all hostile in such manner. Or I don't go around telling people that dislike it to STFU

I agree with the spoiled thing, but that has nothing to do with disliking or liking it. Not everyone can like anything, remember

It's almost as if we just expect them to hand us brand new shiny pets anymore. They don't have to give us any new pets at all.

I'm sorry not everyone likes the pets they've released SO FAR, but you can't please everyone. However, keep in mind how HUGE this is to hunters everywhere, regardless of whether or not you like the pet. What other classes get special stuff like pets catered to them?

Also, have any of you complaining looked at everything they're doing for the patch? Do any of you have any idea what it would take for the art team to develop 8 BRAND NEW pets on top of the other workload they have to do just so some whiny hunters can complain about how much they hate (or praise) the new skins?

Be happy we get something at all and hope that the next 5 skins are more to your liking.

Actually...all 3 specs of the hunter ARE balanced. Not any single one is better than the other. Even with the very minor nerfed. They're all still viable. As a BM hunter, I can compete easily against an MM or SV hunter. Back in wrath? I couldn't.

I'm not attacking you, nor am I really attacking anyone here in the first place. It's not the people I'm frustrated at, it's the attitude that permeates every single topic like this. People are entitled to their opinion, but when the same opinion is plastered all over the boards and whining - sorry, discussing - their dislike of 'non-unique' skins and other related bullshittery it gets old pretty fast. I apologize if I came off as coarse, but I don't believe I've said a single 'mean' thing aside from this one post - I'm generally a decent person. :)

Aeladrine nailed my issue exactly. It's not that people don't like these things. It's that the same people who don't like them constantly want newer and better things while we're rolling in new pets and skins already and never once do they stop and be even remotely thankful. It gives off the attitude that nothing is ever good enough for them.

If it helps any, I'm not a huge fan of the skin myself, but it's really not worth getting feathers ruffled over. Again, I apologize for slipping up - gonna put my pony mask back on and be nice!

You might be taking the STFU comment a little too seriously by the way. ;) I don't dislike anyone here. Just the things some people say or, rather, the way they say them.

Totally Taming this one!

Temporarily hostile is still hostile and telling someone they scare others away is just plain rude. So is telling someone to STFU, which is why I didn't say that she wasn't hostile and/or rude as well.

This seems to be a topic that makes people angry, defensive, and unwilling to listen to others. I'm not talking about anyone in specific, obviously, just remembering the reactions of many hunters in many threads to similar suggestions. These sorts of angry feelings tend to crop up whenever a rare is reskinned or its skin is put on a common mob. People get angry and often don't realize they are being rude or downright cruel.

I'm just trying to keep those same sorts of problems from cropping up here, so why don't we all take a nice cup of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or apple cider and calm ourselves down.

Uncalled for. If people don't particularly care for having two superfluous Gondrias (with the same challenge attached to each no less) added to the game, then they have just as much right to voice that negative opinion as you have to voice your positive opinion. If you don't like reading opinions that don't lock-step match yours, then the internet isn't the place for you. Yes, the blue cat is pretty, but I really don't think I'll be spending much time looking for it (or the white) because I already have the original. This is the PTR, so that could change (I'd like one to become a spectral Sambas and the other to become a spectral Pitch personally), but I won't hold my breath on the models changing at this point. A black Loque with red highlights on the other hand.....
