The best thing about the PTR is that we get a bunch of Petopians in the same guild on their main chars. Thank you to the hordies who went with the faction change so we'd all be on the same side.

Petopians are basically faction-neutral; we'll roll either way (especially on the PTR) in order to be together.

(P.S. Ursa and I are in the background of the pic with Kari and Dante - because we're usually there. - and Tatski and Rocky are there as well. )

There are three US and two EU guilds associated with these forums.

US:

*<Petopians> Bloodhoof-Horde

Anyways, the most active of the US guilds was, last I checked, <Petopians>.
But, that doesn't necessarily mean that the same is true on the PTR.

Don't mind me, I'm having a slow day. I totally forgot these where taken on the PTR..Mind has been elsewhere lately.

I don't believe I can convey how much I love this scorpid. He seriously poses himself...

Those pics are just too awesome! XD I hope this scorpid really gets named Dante in a future PTR built!

After more adventures tonight, it seems that as a teacher, Dante is also a questgiver....and his quest is Tame Kirix. No substitutions!

I'm still on the fence about whether Remoulade gets to be reborn (as he has been on the PTR) or if I'm just going to bring Dante with me. I really like Remy, but I don't think I'm going to get out of this without Dante. And yet, he would be both... *mumbles something about giving up entirely on pet diversity, knowing that she just lost this internal battle and will end up with Remy-as-his-brown-self AND Dante* You win again, Dante....

You never visit anymore! Last you were here, you mentioned being excited about venturing to 'the Firelands'.
What has the place done to you? It certainly doesn't sound like it's a more pleasant place than the Redridge Mountains.

Would it kill you to visit an old friend or two? We miss you!

Continuing to get to know Dante is so enlightening.

It seems as though Dante is a former Madexx who escaped from Uldum, seeking enlightenment beyond just being someone's pet. He traveled up the entire continent to Mount Hyjal, where he entered the Firelands and met Kirix. Kirix and Dante, both scholars, taught each other how to use their skills: Dante taught Kirix about poisons and Kirix taught Dante about fire and lava. These colleagues are good friends. Dante, older and having traveled more than Kirix, wants his green friend to experience more of the world, as he did himself. But Kirix does not want to go, since he does not want to leave Dante or his family. This is why Dante encourages hunters to tame Kirix; that spider needs to see more of the world and he won't go of his own free will, so he needs to be dragged out there by a hunter who understands him, one who will bring him home to visit. Dante himself has seen and learned much and wants to stay in his new home. And yet, the prospect of seeing his good friend exploring the world has touched upon his inner wanderlust, so if approached in the right way, he might be convinced to travel alongside a special companion who knows better than to try and tame him....

^ That... It's terribly bad that I want to get otno the PTR -just- to meet Dante XD

It seems that in later phases, there are about eight NPCs who turn up in his area. Some are questgivers, but one is a guard, who apparently has an eye on Dante! It's great knowing that he'll have a bodyguard and some company as we phase through the zone.

I'm not that far along myself or I'd have pics. >_>;

I had to tame him again, this time actually naming him Dante. I had earned the right after taming Kirix.

...prolly abandoning my black Madexx just to tame this cute Scorpid. and i'll be sure to have him visit Kirix every now and then
