Ugh, I tried killing my stuck Nobundo copy, but can't hit the release button in time to complete the self-rescue because I'm still d/cing. Any suggestions? (At least I have a copy over there with access again, but SIGH.)

Hmm. You could always try lowering your setting as much as you can before you log in. Might give you a little more time.

If you use any macro's on that character you can go to your WTF folder for example (Make sure wow is closed :p):

C:\Public Test Realm\World of Warcraft Public Test\WTF\Account\<Random Number?>\<Server>\<Character stuck>

In this folder there is a file called 'macros-cache' open that in notepad and change one of you macros that is bound to a key to:

/run RepopMe()

save the file.

Now when you enter world with your character just keep pressing that button fast as you can (Starting on the load screen) and it should release for you so next time you will start at the graveyard.

Unfortunately, I don't have any macros bound on that copy, or that would have been a fantastic idea. D: Will try lowering settings when I get back over there.

haha so if you dont have a macro, cant switch factions cause they dont like it when you have mail.. and take it to the other faction (they dont want your junk mail mmk!) your.. screwed

On the other hand, this all happened for a reason. After taming Deth as my troll, I'm now resigned to getting her on live. x_x Still unsure on the name, though. *grumbles a bit*

But this never would have happened if I hadn't been stuck in lava!

ARGH! I was getting solix and got knocked into the lava .. Still can't believe this is not fixed yet wtf...

Yah.. umm Solix made me faction change twice.. (evil spider) first time I got knocked into the lava he was looking at me like nooooooooo, it was cute! So I switch to human. As soon as I got to his lava spot, got blasted into his lava and he just stared at me.. I stared at him.. I tried kiting and got once again blasted into the lava. So.. switched back to BE, get to dalaran, fly all the way back there and finally the stubborn guy came home.

His home is.. booby trapped.. *twitch*

That particular Solix kicked the crap out of us, methinks. xD I *had* to try to solo tame him yesterday on Nobundo, just because I needed to do it at some point and yesterday was a really really bad day. I actually got him into taming range just as he closed in on me, but I chickened out and feigned as the buff came off. I dove directly back into the next tame, only to get blasted into the lava (he killed me while I was d/ced). >_< I figure we call that a stalemate - I'm capable of solo taming him, but Solix is the boss. xD

Regardless of his deathtrap lava, Solix definitely feels like the hardest of the tames; Deth is just an endurance battle and Kirix is cake once you've prepared properly.

(And now I can return to my promise of not going back in there - something I genuinely didn't do for days - since my "PTR main" refuses to go past that first rune. No more "for science!" moments!)

:Lol: yes.. crossfaction was a pain in the butt. And I do agree that really he is probably one of the hardest to get, with the prospect of people questing, the rocks hitting you and making you get dazed, his high chance of missing the traps and really you can only kite him in a cave.
Skitter you can go more to the side and its fireplume so its out there. Deth you can sucessfully kite the back if your careful, but Solix you have only so much room and as soon as you hit the cave you know hes there.

Also if someone is doing the quest it makes it a 100 times harder. You cant eat cause the mobs put you in combat, the mobs can hit your trap, and they can also agro you. Them hitting you with aspect of the daze up is.. extremely brutal.. solix is not forgiving if he gets close.

YAY!!! Not that I would know, ptr wont download the new patch..

Make sure you enable Peer-To-Peer .. Mine wouldn't download until I did that :\ Probally some crap they messed up with the new UPnP crap.
