Tamed Ankha!

Sever first Skitterflame I believe. Found solix and died from lag while kiting. When I came back he was dead.
Just waiting on Kirix

Been the luckiest few days for me. got realm first Ban, then Magira earlier today.

Got Aoenaxx's mount. And just got Ankah as well.

Now to sleep-maybe.

Was waiting around for Skarr and notice Kirix running around and other hunters getting killed by him. See their sad attempt to tame him, I jumped down to see whats the big deal. Tamed him on my first try



A couple of minutes later my target appears. A alliance hunter beat me to it but clearly he didn't know what to do and was one killed instantly. I of course jumped in for the tame :{

Question: How do you find out if you were server first? I see people post this, but I have no idea how to find out.
Got these last night.

How on earth are so many people getting these pets?! With the amount of dailies we've had so far, I've only got 16 MotWT and no access to the Molten Front. I have no clue how so many people are getting these rares. Also I have yet to see anyone with Magria, Anhka or Ban'thalos. And even though I don't plan on camping any of these rares for a while, since their spawn points will be crammed full of people and making it a very tedious time for me (I'm only going for the three spirit beasts, Kirix, Deth'tilac and Skarr anyway.), I still find myself getting rather annoyed and even more so jealous that everyone seems to be getting these rares and not me.

I feel like a disgrace to rare-hunters everywhere. :/

'Server First' is just guesswork from what i can tell. If you've been out there camping without any breaks since patch day and you get the first spawn, it's 'safe' to assume you did it first. Like I said though, it's all guesswork and tooting your own horn for show-off purposes. :P

As for people in the Molten Front, it's been mentioned that dailies reset and allowed some people to get in early.

The important thing to remember is that when it comes to rare-hunting, it's not a race. It's not a competition. A "server first" Ban'thalos is no different than one I tame years from now - your own personal camp, tame, and what you make of the pet is what really matters.

I know that. It's just the millions of threads we're having right now about all the new rares and people taming them, it's making me feel a bit left out... I'm camping for Karoma right now. I suppose now is a safe time to do so, since most other people will be after the newer rares. I was going to camp for Terrorpene but judging by where he's located, I don't think I'll be grabbing him anytime soon...

I also got to walk another hunter through taming four of the five spiders. (He got Anny on his own....Deth unfortunately got KO'd. ) Oh yes, and before that, I told him how to tame Ankha. Whee teamwork! (And god, it was bloody satisfying watching Ankha one shot a tauren dk who went after her....)

No rares yet for me, although Wildlark is parked on top of Banny's tree.

But my troll went and joined the Dante Club!



Now he just needs Magria, and a Skarr and Ban'thalos for Lark, and I'll be happy.

First day into the molten front I run around to where Dante is to say hi and get stomped on by a big green spider Lotsa hunter corpses around I make my way up to the floating rock pull out sparkles my core hound pop hero dismiss and tame and boom! I believe this is server first kirix but idk Would be nice! now I got people calling me a cheater because I used the rock and hysteria trick. >.> People need to learn to read!

Well played! And yes, they do need to read. That method was okayed, or it would have been removed.

I saw Deth again.. and was looking for hunters who were able to come in and tame him.. but no on was on.. there were a bunch of other non hunters around and I didnt want to see Deth killed.. so i had to tame him again..







Errr and I did this in my PvP gear.. what is wrong with me? lol.. I wanted to make a video on how to tame Deth
so others can get a great visual and help etc.. but i saw too many people coming close to deth.. one priest also
snooped in and started to mess with Deth.. she was killed.. so i had to do something before she called for more people.
So I tamed Deth again and gave my first one a companion to play with..

Day 3.. everyone starts pouring in.. and Deth spawned again.. and I waited for the first hunter to come in. I helped out
and Im glad he got a new home.. to Horde side this time =)

I love helping others.. it brings good karma =P
Kirix spawned after Deth was tamed..
I already tamed Kirix so I was watching him take LIVES! they deserve it.. all these hunters KILLED DANTE! =/

After Kirix was finally tamed ... Solix spawned..
My failure accidentally died falling into a pit where I couldnt not get my body back.
So I took res sick and still was able to tame Solix.. =)

And just got Kirix! (yay Shadows luck charm)
I freaked out because he had killed me while I was alt tabbed and there were 2 other hunters in the area. I decided to just watch and see if they could tame him and they both died 3 times so I decided it was my turn and I got him right before the stun cast went off. I assumed they'd attack me for taming him but they just hugged and cheered me. Decided to make a horde toon and explain the strat to them
