I'm surprised no one has said more stables slots!

I'm pretty sure everyone already knows I'm an advocate, but hydras, hydras, hydras! *crosses fingers*

I may have just dragged a Strashaz Hydra from Alcaz Island to Durotar so I could take some screenies. >.>

Honestly though, they're so full of personality and charm. This black one here is my planned tame should they turn tamable in the future. His name will be Unagi. :3

they would make a sick tanking pet. Something like a peterfiy (sp) stun ablity I would love that red one as well.

*shudder* I would not enjoy having to spend extended amounts of time there. I forced myself to finish the quests in Vashj'ir, and I've never gone back since.

Some new power for hunters that lets them attack/prevent griefers from killing while in the middle of a tame. I mean seriously this patch's pets are getting out of hand O.o

Beast Mastery, Alows hunter to tame exotic pets, recieve 4 bonus talent points and hunter can now have two pets out. pets are at 60% damage.

Hee, 'unagi' is the Japanese word for eel, and the black hydras sort of make me think of three eel heads, so the name just kind of stuck. ^^

There's been one thing I have been wanting sense the release of Alcaz Island.. Hydras. And ever sense 4.1 when blizzard 'claimed' to have made Hydras tameable they didn't. So if we get Hydras I will be SO happy.

GIVE ME MY HYDRAS NOW OR YOU WILL DIE!!!!!!!!!!

Just to note: Blizzard never did claim to make hydras tameable. Not once. The notes that were datamined were never official by Blizzard.

Indeed. All that happened was that the ghost hydras were made "legit," as in "no longer crocolisks."

no entirely true. the family was added, as well as all current hydras in game were changed from unknown to beast hydra. they were given tameable features" which ment they have the pet abilities and diet but arent tameable *yet. For the ghost hydra the decreased his hiss rate. and shrunk the model a bit.
This indicated they were going to be tameable soon, as they were given the stats. maybe blizzards waiting for the abysmal maul to open up maybe its later on. but we do know they wouldnt do this if they weren't highly considering as animals like the pterrodax, stags, and basalisks weren't given the same attention
