Relatives who show up at your doorstep very rarely and when they do, they think they can critizise everything about your lifestyle.

My aunt for my father's side popped in to visit last week. We see her very rarely, once in maybe four or five years. At first she was supposed to stay for a night or two, but she's still here - almost a week later. Each passing day she seems to find a new excuse to stay for a bit longer.

Normally this wouldn't bother me, but me and my parents tend to favor peace and quiet for the most part, while this aunt of mine is CONSTANTLY pushing us to go somewhere, and won't take no for an answer. "Let's go shopping! Want to go see a play in another city? I feel like taking a super long walk, anyone want to come?" God forbid if you tell her you don't really feel like it or just plain aren't interested, she'll start critizising the amount of time you spend rotting at home.

Well sorry for not
a) having much RL friends nearby to hang with
b) enjoying museums, dull plays and whatnot
c) being in the condition to take five-hour walks in the heat of the Summer
d) living in a town with proper shopping centers or other interesting places to go to

And it's still down; blown through two estimated "WoW is back up!" times now.

got up early to play before my fiance and son wake up xD but noooooo oh well... Ill.....stalk the fourms, though i have a feeling they wont be up till 11

Oh yeah and my cars transmissions, yeah has to be completely rebuilt gonna be about 4 days before i get it back and this blows cuase ive only had it a month FFS FML.. oh well better it happend RIGHT by my house then on the freeway

Being a sysadmin myself, I have some sympathy -- there must be some unhappy people working at Blizz HQ right now, probably on not much sleep at all.

We will have an UPdate in onehour xD

yeah i think playing wow just got thrown out the window for me... And my dogs REALLY need to learn to stop barking at everyone and everything.. I never get to sleep in ._. or they wake me and my son up -.- its annoying

7 a.m.? I need to learn to read, I had assumed it would be till 11 (would be 2 then here.) like it usually so I'm not disappointed at all.

I guess it's Blizzard's way of saying "no WoW for you this morning!"

Yup. And I am mindful that scheduled maintenance frequently (more often than not) ends early. So as long as the Blizzard mods at least keep adding updates - AND NOT LYING ABOUT WHEN THEY ADDED THEM* - I'm fine. I just find it cute watching Blizzard fans struggle to find a positive spin on things when someone merely points out that deadline is past and that an update from Blizzard would be nice.

*I think someone got spoken to about that, because it used to be that when they were running hours past scheduled end-of-maintenance, the mods would frequently post no updates until hours later, and then manually change the time stamps to make it look like they had been posting them throughout.

i think thats what upsets people the most really either no updates or late ones

oh and the people who live across the street REALLY and i mean REALLY need to learn to keep their taco bell dog in their yard because my dogs... will eat it... and i already lost a screen to the window cause it came over and they wanted at it cause it was growling at them IN OUR YARD... now i almost lost a glass window...

I think at least some of the people who were bothered by this were going off the fact that A) today's maint started early (4 hours or something?) and B) they were in time zones where that mattered.

Yes, I too was snoring peacefully through it all, but just sayin.

SO sick of being the one to play animal wrangler in my house.. its always blame my animals and not my sisters cat.... its my dogs did this my cat did that my cats a bi*&* she starts everything... i hate it so much ._.

Do people really not care what happens to their animals the taco bell dog almost got hit by a car! i called animal control said they would come get him since he is running around. getting old ._.

Are the servers ever up before 11am on tuesdays? No matter what time the thing says, I a,ways just resign myself to waiting till 11am on a tuesday before being able to log in. I dont like tuesdays...

Also, I finally met a griefer hunter whom interupted the tame of another hunters attempts at skarr, just so he could tame it to grief the other hunter, since he already HAD a tamed skarr...And then he named the Skarr after the hunter he had stolen the tame from. Needless to say, I encouraged the other hunter and thier pally friend as well as myself to ticket the incident.
