I wouldn't mind seeing a legendary for enhancement shamans or hunters. I really hate the look of guns in most games and WoW is no exception. I also hate the sound of them but if they could come up with a cool look for it I suppose it might be okay but I'd still vastly prefer a bow or crossbow over it so as to avoid the annoying sounds. I don't like having to mute my sound all the time because of hat annoying as hell "Bang!!!! Bang!!!" Bows are typically more visual appealing and crossbows have some okay designs but they are usually lacklustre. If it was to be a hunter weapon in order of preference for me it would be bow>crossbow>gun.

Trolls only be gettin or racial off da bow man. Da crossbow be doin nutin for us.

I think a regular bow would be nice, just because bows are sexier looking and not as loud as guns.

Putting in an agi mace/axe would be cool. Maybe they could do somehting like they did with atish so that depending on the class you'd get somthing a little diffrent but still the same item really... then you could have an enh shammy/rogue/druid and maybe even hunter weapon. Hunters can dual weild, jsut give us a better agi weapon enchant and we'd be set ^^

but ultimately yes, I would like to see something for a shaman. With all the quest lines arround Thall in cata it would fit into the story line well to have a shammy weapon (seeing has shammy favor a Mace or Axe in all 3 spec over daggers and staves)

As much as a legendary gun would be pretty damn cool (even though I used to insanely hate guns in-game for the longest time. Lvl 80 Skill of 1 in Guns FTW.) I just....sigh. I want a polearm legendary so much more. >.<;; Some epic "Dragonslayer" polearm. Come on...we are killing Deathwing soon damnit! I need my dragon-pokey stick.

So with deathwing being the next raid... we have more info to guess what the legendary is! it's a mace from the shards of his shattered chin. or a polearm with the blade made from his shattered chin.... What I've been calling a deathwing's chin legendary since wrath lemme alone :O

Yep they put up an edit note after I updated this so I'll be fixing it.

There is something wrong with this "Official Legendary" we are seeing. One the interview with The Escapist is no longer up, anywhere that I can see, and there was no blue post. Two Blizzard has never made a "one class only" legendary, it also only benefits 2 specs so.......I think we are getting trolled.

It could be an epic troll from wowhead, but when I updated there wasn't an edit note from them. Click to read the article itself which was no longer up. Went back and there was the edit (or maybe I'm blind who knows). I added an edit note so I no longer have this as confirmed.

It just looks like the Strong Fishing Pole, or Nat Pagle's, or several other plain looking poles in the game.
Not that it matters when you have +1000 fishing skill...
