Echoing those that think the black eagle is phenomenal. I'm a bird owner in real life and while most of the available skins in-game don't do it for me, I'd tame half of these reskinned eagles and owls. Good lord.
Sidenote, I wish there were still some Carrion Bird skins available that weren't some version of a vulture. There are so many beautiful Birds of Prey.

Most of the owls just look strange to me, but most of the new parrots look freaking amazing!

One thing that surprised me is that turtles and corehounds share the same skin format! Even the carapace bumps are present in both. In fact they're so similar the only two real differences are (i) the eyes are a different shape and (ii) the part that describes the thick band on the turtle's shell is for the metal bands on the corehound. As a result you can see some really cool turtles. They all have metal bands around their shells, which looks silly, but if that was fixed they'd make great skins of their own.
The drakeadon skin on a turtle is a beautiful dark wine colour:
The two core hound colours would make great alternative fire turtles. I especially love the metallic sheen to the bumps on the carapace:

I like the green drakeadon, would love to have some more core hounds that had a natural look.
And I don't know that the metal bands on the edges of the turtle shells look so bad; it's like they are armored.

These are awesome! Are there any more models that it works with?

There are other beasts that have similar skin formats and they were obviously derivatives, but they're not quite the same. Perhaps there are more that would work properly but I haven't noticed them yet.

Oh wow! Those are so neat looking. The turtle with the red corehound skin would be awesome to use for the Children of Volcanoth, and the Chromaggus turtle could be neat for the Dragon Turtles in BT.
Do the burrower worm models work on the Jormungar/Worm frames at all? Even if they're not perfect, would be cool to see them with a full body.

I like the albino looking corehound, and the gray and purple one. ^_^

I kind of took them at angles where the metal doesn't look so bad. But when you see them animated it definitely looks funny in places, especially under the front of the shell, behind the neck.
Spiritbinder did say he could whip up versions of them with the shell / metal bands on the right models, so maybe we'll get some proper ones, at least to look at

Oh man, both awesome ideas!

Sadly, no they don't ;( I've tried them on both the original jormungar crawling models and they simply don't map right. All four worm models (original, jormungar, sand/bone and lava) have quite different skin formats. The original very obviously follows a similar layout to the serpent model and I would guess they used the same framework. Not sure what they did for the later ones.

*nodnod* Yeah, I figured as much. Ah well, maybe someday they'll make full models for them. ^^
Ooh, I thought of another...are Devilsaur/Raptor skins interchangeable? Thinking of that new King Mosh raptor mount, hehe.

They are! However there are some awkward bits. For example, the eyes: raptors have slit pupils and devilsaurs have round point pupils. Devilsaur eyes on a raptor make it look like it's wired. Then again, being troll mounts maybe that's appropriate

That new trading card raptor mount that uses the tan devilsaur skin does have weird eyes, it's a shame they didn't fix them.
Apart from that there's no feathers on the devilsaur skin, so on the raptor the feathers will come out like skin tags (at least that's something they remembered to add to that new mount). And raptor skins on the devilsaur give it rope bands and bling which looks a bit odd but not too bad. I'll try to post some screenshots later.

I'm curious to see them even if they do look wonky.
