Im a big mount and pet collector. So far ive managed 127 mounts on my mount collector. The mount that took me longest to get was the Barons mount, but after 417 runs in Stratholme I finally got it. My next task is the Time Lost. My fav mount has to be Ravenlord.
Update, im now on 131 mounts.

Does the 3 seater black mammoth drop from ALL VOA bosses? or just the stone guy? The groups i get into only do the frost and fire guys.

Well mate you can nearlly get 100 from easy to get mounts

currently sitting at 110 mounts but farm all i can get my hands on sucks though that my mount collector is no longer my main char since my main has a few mounts my mount whore doesn't

105 at the moment if I am correct Companion collection is a little more extensive

I have 49 on my druid (yeah, one away from the big 5-0), and less than 10 on my hunter. I'm currently working on the violet proto-drake on my druid but I have to do every...single...holiday...for the rest of the year. X_x I think once I get to 50 I'll be done, since I don't like the dragonhawk mount that you get for acquiring 100 mounts and honestly, 50 mounts has been tiring enough as it is. I know it's a lot easier now but I take a long time to get anything. And my hunter is really only interested in black/war mounts anyway (with the exception of the ZG raptor which I have yet to get and the green proto drake which just REFUSES to hatch for me!).

My druid has about...60 something atm and my hunter has 25 at least I think, still going for those Zg mounts /grumble at lousy drop rate

My main Gumballs has 107. I got the Dragonhawk in March, and I was soo proud of myself because I honestly thought I would never get it! I have six rare drops: Sea Turtle (#67), Brewfest Kodo (#71), White Polar Bear (#72), Brewfest Ram (#73), Green Proto-Drake (#81), and Baron's Deathcharger (#91). I also have the Red AQ Tank (#98) and the Twilight Drake (#107), both of which I consider rare, at least on my realm!

I recently started collecting on my lock, Nuhm, who is lower level. So far he has 14 mounts which include the warlock mounts, all BE racial mounts, regular wyverns, the armored brown bear, black war kodo and celestial steed.

And I'm aiming to have my level 48 druid become my level 60 twink/bank alt. I actually want to get the 50 mount achievement on her, even though I won't be able to use the drake haha! She currently has all tauren racial mounts, the celestial steed and the black warstrider. It's a start

My favourite owned mounts are my albino drake, red dragonhawk, celestial steed, twilight drake and sea turtle. My fave unowned mounts are the ravenlord, azure drake, and zulian tiger.

Um dude the red bug and twilight mounts are rare as they have low drops rates Thus being rare on the other hand i don't call the brewfest ones rare anymore as they are pretty easy to get now imo.

How exactly are the Brewfest ones common? It's a week long event (or two, I can't remember), out of the whole year. You can summon the boss once per day, and then you have to compete with the entire group IF the mount even drops. You can try to get some groups to take you along if you don't have your summon, but good luck with that. I was lucky enough to get both because I have an amazing boyfriend and an amazing friend who ended up winning and trading it over to me.

And I don't really count the Red AQ bug as rare.. since you farm it from trash. That's how I got mine, solo farming AQ a few times. Plus the twilight drake is a guarenteed drop from Sarth three drakes on 25 man, not a low drop rate. I got mine on a pug.

I'd say two mounts that drop two weeks out of the year are more rare than something like the white hawkstrider or the ravenlord which you can do everyday, or the red bug that you can farm as much as you like.

I mean it boils down to luck with drops and rolls in the end, but the brewfest mounts are in no way easy to get, same as any rare drop.

Well the red bug has a 10% or so drop rate compared to the others so its rare. the brewfest ones have a pretty high drop rate compared to the other drop ones and are one of the easyest drop mounts to get AND seeing as now you can do the holiday bosses as random dungens were every one can summon the boss that just makes it easyer to get. I happend to win 4 kodos last year!

I know the red bug has a lower drop rate from the others but my point is is that is drops from trash mobs that you can farm constantly, so that kind of counteracts the drop rate. Sure, it has a 1.3% chance to drop.. but it's not a once a day thing, you can kill hundreds of those mobs in a day by doing either soft resets or hard resets of AQ, making it easier to get.

And Brewfest mounts may have a slightly higher drop rate, but once again, they are only obtainable during two weeks of a year, compared to other rare drop mounts that you can try for once a day or once a week depending on which one it is. The time frame that this mount is available for makes it harder to get imo.

And the changes to holiday bosses is.. I dunno. I'm not sure if its a good or a bad thing, since the rare items such as the mounts will drop from a personal cache just like the blue drake from random occulus. So on one hand, if you win the mount from now on, you don't have to outroll anyone for it, which is pretty nice. But on the other hand, you only have one shot at it a day instead of multiple shots if you bring in friends who would trade you the mount. I'm not sure if I like the change for that haha.. I'm just hoping I get lucky with the Horseman's mount this year.

I too w ant the HH one and im kind of glad they did the holiday thing as it allways drove me up the wall asking in trade for a group then waiting 20 mins and getting a tank or someone who leaves after 1 go/wipe or goes "lol durr i have done it today but i forgot to say" and takes the bloody mount >.> thats like happend 3 times!
