It probably won't be a dragon, since dragons are a supernatural beasty and kind of reserved for achievements.

Honestly, I think a turtle of some sort is more likely since they already have work done on one (obviously the panda version would have to be fancier and move faster!) but given how big and bulky pandaren are, it needs to be something they can sit on and not look odd. Maybe the epic one will have a saddle with kegs hanging off the sides.

Don't think western dragon, more of a Long, which still doesn't really have a representation in WoW. Maybe something like Sirrush?

pretty sure its gonna be one of these guys, there was a shot on mmo with a bunch of different colored ones that i cant seem to find.

lol - reminds me of the DK starter quests. When you choose a horse to be transformed into your deathcharger, you can pick any of the ones in the herd - including the teeny little colt.

Giant toon proudly riding back on one of those things is pure win.

I think the "Yaks" fit best with them as a racial mount in terms of size and fitting with their culture but I'd still like to see Chinese Dragons and Kirin as mounts as well in this expansion.

The Yak also has the advantage of being freaking adorable.

I wonder if it's possible to get yaks on other races?

Think of it: they are brew masters.

That means they're going to spend most of their time "under the influence".

No way in hell Blizzard is going to let them get behind the wheel of some vehicle!

Most likley there will be a quartermaster and a mountaster, we need a way to gain rep since im sure they will have a.faction and we will need access to.the mounts or we'll have the enrage threads that we faced about running wild/horses al over

Fine then let yaks ride pandaren - yaks don't have a drinking problem after all.

I'm curious how will the faction mount thing (and just the racial faction!) work. Either we will get two actual Pandaren racial factions (one for Alliance, one for Horde) that potentially give you different colors of mounts, or the faction giving you actual mounts will be one of the end-game factions, which also give you the pre-raid gear via reputation.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that it'll be like the brown riding bear from Dalaran; that Alliance pandaren will have a mount of a certain color(s) with blue armor, and Horde with red.

Foo Dogs/Lions would make for an awesome mount all right, but again, I think they're too fancy/awesome for a racial mount. All extant racial mounts are basically plain old animals (except mechanostriders which are fake plain animals), after all.

Not that I wouldn't love one of those. (Blizzard to have them as a rep-faction earnable plox)

Turtles would be fun! Still kinda hoping for the Yaks just because I want one.

Also the 'Foo Dogs' they're putting ingame are bad guys in Pandaria. XD
