Wow, yeah I also remember falling off of Darnassus with my first hunter.. didn't know about the auto unstuck button so I sent a ticket to a GM and waited 2 hours to get unstuck haha. It was great.

Yes leveling with a tank pet would actually make life easier.. I never really realized that until I read about it haha, I got my hunter all the way to 80 before I even attempted to tame a tank pet haha. I also have Inaric who was my first hunter that I played on my bros account until I got my own account, shes lvl 60 now and I guess she needs to go get a bear or something, I want a warp stalker but will have to wait a few levels for that. She currently has Humar (which I camped three days straight for) Araga (my fave) and Rak shiri.

I also recall trying to tame this one cat over and over again, and it kept killing me and I didn't even notice that I had a pet on me and it was just dead that's why it didnt show up or how to release it haha

The best thing though, new hunters, to feed your pet you just grab the food and click it to your pet, that would have saved me alot of effort if I had known that from the beginning haha had to retame a few pets because I had no idea how to keep them happy.

HAHA I love when the healer blames me if the party wipes. The Mob kills the tank then the mage then my pet, then when he goes and allmost kills the next DPS and hes still at more then half health somehow its MY FAULT that I pretend to be dead instead of going playing tank with the one healer BLEH!

Yes I've done this dumb huntard move a couple times where I didn't check after a lot of fights then either went in with zero ammo or ran out while in. /facepalm
Thankfully I have had good groups who weren't upset and laughed it off saying "I've done that to!"

How about methods of transportation aside from running around? Flight points, boats, and the like?

I was level 11 and hadn't yet discovered how to get off teldrassil, and some friends wanted to run me through Deadmines. So the warlock summoned me, we run it, huzzah and horray. They then had to leave and logged out, leaving me in Westfall, convinced that I had messed up the game somehow and couldn't go back to my home anymore D: So I made the best of it and leveled with the humans.

Also, stablemasters. Learn them, love them.

If only I knew about skills and talents..... I went all the way up to level 37 without taking ANY skills or talents whatsoever!!! lol

Luckily I knew about Blizzard's fondness for talent trees from Diablo II, so I didn't do that... But I have fallen off of Teldrassil, purposely... I wanted to see what would happen/where it took me... It was fun seeing all the random twigs poking out of the Giant Tree. Even worse though, back when the Under-Stormwind Glitch still occurred, I got my Druid(Long gone, and remade as a name save for my Worgen) down there... I took a drop through one of the random empty patches (I had been down there before and knew how to get back) OOPS! Wrong square... I was forever falling.... I sat for about 30 minutes waiting on my ticket... The GM teleports me to outside IF, turns me into a frog, and launches me back to stormwind.... It was wickedly sweet.
