I didn't pick up the hatchie because I was watching a movie and missed it. I've missed 2 things i really want from your drops because of bad luck/timing. You're constantly cursing your luck, and you have really GOOD luck with both trades and drops. I'm not saying I haven't been lucky. I have thanks to the rare drop thread and the kindness of a few others, along with sheer persistence in cave hunting, which has eaten up many many hours of my life, but you don't seem to be able to see just how lucky you really are. Your ND, geesh I'd kill for it (not literally, but you get the idea) You have a very impressive scroll very early in your game play. It took me many more months to even realize some of the things you've grasped easily. I don't have cb stripes, I've never even seen one.

I'd have snatched that silver metallic up in a heartbeat, since silver is a very special color to me. Some people I'm sure don't even have silvers yet, and would have loved it as well. I also think the drop threads are a wonderful and fun idea. You're way too hard on yourself and your luck/ability, and it seems you have a tendency to focus on your lacks/wants rather than your many successes.

Anyway, just my 2 pennies.

I second this. I also don't think you should quit because you think other people don't share your opinons of what is rare and not (sorry for badly built up sentence). You should play it because you think it's great, not because of others. I don't think anyone here thinks silvers are not rare, because they bloody damn are, it's just that the new release craze has gotten overboard and people are hoarding the new golds like crazy, and I understand them.

Well for one, your dropping them later then your due drop time which should be at 7pm and not later then that which annoys me seriously (i eat dinner at 5:30-6 usually and i get absolutely no leniency when he tells me dinner is ready.), you didnt drop the egg before yesterday which ticked me off, you didnt drop the egg yesterday at the proper time which ticked me off and then all of a sudden without warning you drop it and i wasnt here because i thought you were not going to drop it and i missed it.

Im not complaining that i only have one of each trio (before your ice drop which i didnt even know you dropped since there was absolutely no warning that you were gonna drop something and when) and im extremely thankful to those who gave me my Thunder, and 2 Magmas and i aint complaining about my scroll, i love my scroll to death but the only rare creatures that were worth anything before these 2 new dragons came out was a CB gold (sorry Paper's, Chickens, and Cheeses! You are rare to me but not so much to others as im finding). That thing was born in July and ive been playing since December/January.

Dont quit the game because of others, play it because you want to play. Its essentially a spinoff of what zed's doing and those of us with crap scrolls are thankful for these opportunities to try for something nice without having to hand our souls over in exchange but dont complain if no one bites within a few minutes prior or after you drop the link. Also, dropping the eggs/hatchies at exactly or a minute or two after your timestamp which tells people to be ready.

If you dont drop it at its supposed time, leave a warning stating you will drop it at another timestamp'd hour so that we can ready ourselves for that hour. I hate sitting here waiting for the little arrow to appear saying that someone's responded to the thread so i can click it and see what the post was, i have other things to do that while are not important, are things id like to get done to progress myself in whatever im doing at the time while waiting for you to post the link. I understand you may be busy with other stuff but the postponing and lack of warning when a drop is incoming is a huge peeve of mine and can easily be corrected by posting before the timestamp has befallen us that it's been changed due to complications.

Also, as I said, sometimes I will NOT drop it if there is only one person who plays DC online. If there are 3+, I will drop it. If just one particular person isn't on, I'm not going to hold off on the drop until that person in particular logs on because it might mean the 3 who are currently on won't get a chance. I do owe you something, I think, so please, tell me what it is so I can make amends for that.

I just haven't had any room for anything lately. When my new eggs hatch, I go and grab tinsels from the AP for some reason and lock myself again. But everything you've dropped so far, I'd have loved. I'm either not on at the right time, or I don't have the space. It's certainly not because I don't want it, I can promise you that.

If anyone is still interested in taking egg drops of mine, I have a rare egg I want to drop here at 7pm. If no one is interested, fine by me, an extra rare for me, even though I don't want it. Not going to force it on anyone. If people are interested, I might even tell you what it is so you can decide if you want it or not.

I've incubated an egg so I will have a space open. Now to wait.

i'm sorry, Dew, I won't be doing any more drops of anything at all or any posting here any more at all. If you are interested in the egg, it was a non-inbred, slightly messy Ice egg. I will just give it to you or whoever PMs me first. I won't be posting in this thread or the other DC threads anymore.

Unless zed wants to still drop her eggs here, close this thread or at least ignore it.

My incubated egg still hasn't hatched, so I guess grats if someone got it.

I really miss gifting people eggs/hatchies, so I've decided to sort of start doing drops again since people seem to want it. This is my thread for BRED eggs only, not zed's CB egg thread, so anyone can drop an egg/hatchie they've bred here, as long as they follow the rules, which are mostly the same as zed's post, except the egg doesn't have to have any lineage requirements.

Also, I've noticed people have certain things in their wishlist that I can help with. If anyone has a particular dragon they're really wanting, post here and I will try my damnedest to help you complete your wishlist. My wishlist is pretty much complete, so I can breed certain types of dragons for people if I have it (there are various commons I do not have, strangely). I also have a few 4th gen tinsels I can try and breed 5th gens from if anyone loves tinsels. If someone has a CB wishlist item, I'll try my best to catch whatever it is (will be rather difficult for CB golds/silvers, but I can try, can't I? ) for the person.

This goes for ANYONE. There are a lot of new players with wishlists, and if I can help them with their dragons, I will do my best.

The main thing I'm obsessed with right now are moonstones or sunsongs (amphipteres, not sunstones) from moonstone x sunsong (or CBs of each one, of course). If you're ever bored and breed yourself an egg from those parents, I would gladly gobble it up. They're my two favorite dragons, and what better way to celebrate their awesomeness than to make a lineage of them?!

I don't have any of the trio dragons and I would also really like a silver dragon. I honestly don't care how messy or inbred they might be, I would love them anyway <3

I'm obsessed with the new gold wyverns...like totally over the moon about em. I also wouldn't mind a 2nd gen stripe. First gens are impossible, but a 2nd gen maybe not so much. And silver metallics. Silver is very special to me. Either way, It's good to see this thread open. If there's anything I can help with, holler.

Same goes for me. The outpouring of help I'm receiving is ........................... it's just amazing. So I will "pay it forward" the best I can. I am egg locked now but am more then willing to try and get bred eggs for new DC players since my main cave catching is ..................... very very limited to impossible.

Very soon I can attempt to breed PB silvers, since I caught this little fellow a few days ago and made sure to influence him male to go with the female CB silver girls. I'm sure he will mate with ONE of them.

Sadly, he might be a girl anyway. The second one was a girl even though I influenced her male. Silvers seem predisposed to being female. I love female silvers better than males, but I needed a male to be able to attempt PB silvers. As soon as I can, I'll attempt to breed 2nd gen silvers to drop here to help people interested in them. They seem so very hard to breed though. Not a single one of my golds/silvers has ever produced an egg. I do have a 5th gen Abby x Purp Neb silver tinsel egg if anyone is interested.



If people are interested, I might drop the tinsel egg tonight. Or something else. I have a 2nd gen Thunder egg from Thunder x Gold Wyvern too.

Would like to add, this gorgeous 3rd gen female black hatchling from black x Rosebud.

If anyone is interested in me dropping any of those, post here. Otherwise I'll keep them. The black has a particularly pretty lineage, imo.

Yeah, no one is interested in this anymore, so perhaps I will ask for it to be closed. Just trying to help people get dragons and give them a good home rather than just dump them.

It's not that there's no interest, it's that most people are locked right now with the new release and prepping for valentines. I think it's just the timing.

I'd leap all over that black hatchie, Sarantha. My black alt boy, Thalendar, has the exact same type of lineage, so they'd be excellent mates.

I also have a good potential mate for her.
