Having said that I wouldn't want it as rare rng or as elite raid. I always ALWAYS value personal hard work achievements more. Like the pink protodrake for example. In this case I would have preferred something that could be achieved in the LFR version of Dragon Soul through personal persistence and work. LFR is no scarier than 5 man pugs so there's not many it would exclude.

Blizz seems to be doing a decent job of giving nice mounts to players of all playstyles. Let's hope they keep it that way.

I'd say the majority of mounts come from other sources

And by saying that.......

"I'm so GLAD it's not a raid mount. My biggest pet peeve is that every good looking mount was always some super low drop raid mount that almost no one was gonna get unless you're a hardcore raider."

"I worry that people are of the mindset that Blizzard shouldn't have any pretty mounts be raid drops at ALL."

No one has said that though

could leave people a little confused

That said, I am Very glad that we did not have to wait til MOP for this mount, it really does look quite spectacular

Very much agree with you there. I think we have a nice distribution of mounts that cater to a variety of playstyles and sources.
